Great for my kitty
To be honest, I'm a dog lover. But when this kitten started hanging around my house, I started feeding her and now she is my baby. Being my baby, I was worried for her safety. So I purchased this right away to keep her safe. She is an outdoor cat. That is where she wants to be, even if I like her inside. She now comes in the house at night. But she is too wild inside, I take her to sleep in the cage. I know she is safe there.I will be honest that I worry about the quality. I left food in her cage one morning so she would have food for 2 days when I returned the next evening. I saw a claw mark in the cage. I have a feeling raccoons may have smelled the food and tried to claw it and came in thru the door and ate all the food. My cat was fine, but I fed her well when I got back and I worry that if a raccoon can make that claw mark, what can other animals do to it. She seldom sleeps in it so I think it works well for what I need it.The top box, I've found, is too small for her. It was large enough when she was a kitten, but not enough now that she is bigger. Since she cannot sleep in the top box, I had to purchase a little waterproof house at the bottom. Of course it takes up the whole bottom, but it gives her a dry place to sleep in the rain. When we have big storms, she just needs more coverage. I have also covered parts of it with a tarp. I run the tarp over the top and down the sides. I try to let the air flow from front to back. Depends on how bad the rain is. But I normally try to bring her inside when it storms. I hate to have her be scared outside in one of our crazy storms. But sometimes, she is just too wild for the house.Modifications:I have added my own longer screws to screw in some of the harder to reach parts. The screws and latches that it came with are just too small and flimsy. I've gone to the hardware store multiple times for screws and a new larger latch to lock the doors. I've also added further waterproof sealing over the entire wood parts. I've also cut a hole in the side so I can use a heating pad inside the waterproof house on the bottom for winter months when she slept outside a lot. She sleeps in the house more now.Would I purchase this again? absolutely. I'd maybe even get something bigger. Still considering adding to it. I'd love for her to have more room when she is stuck in there. All-in-all, I love this cage. It offered the protection my cat needed as a kitten and still needs now. It has done a good job sheltering her from the elements and has been large enough to house the waterproof housing I bought. Though the hardware is cheap, you can upgrade that and I would buy this again.

Ok for the money. But not very solid built.
This paticuliar brand cattio was ok for the money. Would not buy again. I would look at a manufacturer that has some heavier duty construction. The braces are all brad nailed not screw construction. The shelves are 1/8" plywood and warpped easy. Not solid wood like other cattios. If you see from the photos I attached we needed to install some center bracing on the shelves and a center 2x2 to stabilize the 3 shelves. As my cats walked on them they just flexed and bowed. My heaviest cat is 10lbs. Door locks and hinges are not a very good quality, but that is my fault..other cattios were more expensive I assume that there hardware is better quality. So overall this cattio is ok and great on a tight budget. But not as solid and durable as some other brands. Construction went easy, and assembly was pretty simple. But the extra 2 hours beefing it up was annoying. My wife and i will simply use this cattio untill we save money for a better one. Or i will just build one on our deck.

If zero was an option I would give the product 2 zeroes
This is just a piece of crap!!! Never have I purchased anything from Amazon of such poor quality. It took 8 hours to put together due to the poor instructions and construction, lack of pre-drilled holes, warped, thin, cracking and splintering wood. My husband and I had to re-engineer the entire Catio. Every exposed wood surface will have to be repainted ( awful paint job, streaky and/or non-existent) due to the splintering of the wood and the surfaces will have to be covered material or the cats will get splinters in their paws. Had to add brad nails to separated glued wood pieces. Often the provided screws did not hold the wood and larger holes had to be drilled and new larger screws purchased to complete it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. AWFUL. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

Fun for cats!
First off, this cat enclosure is spacious, measuring 72 inches in height. It provides plenty of room for my cats to move around and play. The wooden construction gives it a sturdy and durable feel, while the weatherproof asphalt roof ensures that the cats stay dry and protected from the elements. I love that it comes with a resting box and two platforms. It's like a little kitty paradise! The enter doors and PP layer make it easy for cats to enter and exit the enclosure, while keeping them safe and secure inside. It's a great way to give the cats some fresh air and outdoor time while keeping them protected.

constructed well easy to put together
product was well marked, easy to assemble,I assemble this by myself with an electric screwdriver and regular screwdriver. Of course it requires a good reading capacity and some ikea experience. But it’s worth it , big enough for my cats , actually this is my second one,I have another one for my little chickens , perfect shelter !

Kiki's korner
Kiki waits by door every morning so she can go to her new setting. The material is what you would expect but is easy to put together. For the price it's fits our needs

Weak shelves
We have a large cat that would cause the shelves to bend when he was on them. We had to reinforce all the shelves and the bottom where the wheels attached as they buckeled.
