Excellent just what I needed to help me get back into tennis after twisting my ankle skiing. Supportive and much easier to put on and take off than aircast a60 and also provides more support and still allows a good range of movement. Note though this is for the Aircast Sport not the aircast rail. (The sport was what I was looking for so was pleasantly surprised when I received that and not an aircast rail. idk what the aircast rail even is so I think the amazon description is wrong)

My daughter who is 11 loves her football but was suffering by rolling her left ankle with alarming regularity. Normal support tubigrip style bandages were a waste of time, and the other sock type products seemed little more than a stiffer tubigrip. Since purchasing this my daughter hasn’t rolled her ankle once which has allowed her to play unrestricted. She was a little worried about the appearance of it and it feeling bulky, however with shin pads and football socks on it’s barely noticeable to other people so I believe it is well worth it. It’s literally impossible for her to roll her ankle now! Was quite expensive however happy to pay for her not to hurt herself doing something she loves.

Item is exactly as described however, after using for a 1 month the splints have worn through the material so customer services have given me a refund to buy a replacement brace with and returned the original one to send off for further investigation. The brace itself is excellent suppory and super comfortable unlike a boot or elasticated one. The steappibg makes it fully adjustable and fits in most lace up shoes.

What can I say about these? Prior to getting them I was suffering frequent pronation of the ankle, since getting them I dont. They allow perfect range of motion in the foot in the up and down but virtually none in the direction I dont want it to go in. When you first put it on it without a training shoe it will make you wonder if it is actually doing anything. Putting your shoe on you suddenly see what it is doing as your ankle immediately firms right up. These might be expensive compared to other sorts of braces available but these actually work extremely well. Just make sure you wrap the strap tight. Andy Murray wears this exact model so if its good enough for him to play professional tennis without suffering pronation issues then they are more than good enough for a duffer like me!!

This ankle brace works well at keeping the ankle stable and means I can play tennis again.It is the third one i have purchased as they do "wear out" and the velcro stops sticking but they are comfortable so i am cautious about trying other makes. Aug 25th.I feel I need to edit my review as I have now been using this for about 7 weeks and already there is a small hole near the base of the heel and the "velcro" is getting tired.i have now bought a different make which I feel will last a lot longer (according to reviews i have read) and it is half the price and i feel very comfortable and supported in the new make.i think Aircast need to "review" the price and materials they use for their product as it is not good enough!

Ordered late on a Sunday afternoon having sprained my ankle on Saturday! Arrived Monday morning with overnight delivery (very reasonably priced). Essentially two gel “splints” either side of the ankle keeps me feeling safe and supported without too much compression. Well made product. Just the right amount of support that can be easily adjusted to suit. Highly recommend.

Dreadful fit. No good if you have normal ankles and big calves.

I fractured my calcaneus (heal bone) about 15 years ago and in the past several years, now in my early 60's, the pain has become awful due to gradual joint space narrowing and subtalar arthritis, as I was warned would probably happen at the time. Every step I take now aches, and at times it's so bad I struggle to put any weight at all on it, which causes limping and pain to gradually spread up to my ankle/lower leg, plus right leg muscle deterioration due to holding back from putting weight on it. I had the Aircast 60 which was great at first but not good enough anymore. I thought I'd try this, not expecting much difference really, and the moment I put it on and took my first few steps I couldn't believe it! Pain reduced immediately by around 80%! I'm kind of shocked really, and so very happy.

Me gusto mucho, da un muy buen soporte al tobillo para jugar fútbol, desde que la compré ya no he tenido lesion del tobillo, la recomiendo ampliamente, lo unico malo es que para ponerse una espinillera de las grandes si es estorbosa, pero de ahi en fuera es un muy buen producto.

Mit dieser Schiene bin ich richtig glücklich. Ich zog mir vor ein paar Jahren einen Bänderriss zu. Aufgrund meiner extremen Arbeitsbedingungen wird mein betroffener Knöchel immer wieder in Mitleidenschaft gezogen und wenn ich auftrete fühlt es sich wie ein Gehen auf Messern an. Zum Schluß dachte ich :"Jetzt geht gar nichts mehr, wie sollst Du weitermachen?". Dank dieser Schiene kann ich mich vollkommen Schmerzfrei bewegen und der Knöchel wird auch gestärkt. Ich habe mir dieselbe Schiene gleich ein zweites Mal als Reserve bestellt. Lässt sich gut tragen in allen Schuhen und Arbeitsstiefeln. Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Aufpassen beim anpassen... ein bissel üben damit kein unerwünschter Druck entsteht.

Ich habe mir die Aircast Schiene zur Nachtherapie meiner Weber A Fraktur (zugezogen im Februar 2019) am linken Sprunggelenk gekauft. Wichtig war mir, dass ich beim Belasten des Fußes ohne Vacoped (dieser große Ski-Schuh der direkt nach dem Bruch für 6 Wochen dauerhaft anstatt eines Gipses getragen wird) eine Sicherheit habe - ohne die Gefahr des erneuten Umknickens. Der Aircast liegt wunderbar am Sprunggelenkk an und ist so "schmal", dass man problemlos Sneakers oder Sportschuhe tragen kann. Ich verwende die Schiene nun auch beim Joggen als zusätzliche Sicherheit - damit keine Möglichkeit zum Umknicken besteht. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut & die Schiene drückt nichtt und ist angenehm am Fuß. Ich hatte mich vorher im Sanitätshaus um die Ecke erkundigt und die Schiene dort anprobiert - allerdings für das 3 FACHE!! vom Preis. Wirklich der Hammer - da kann ich nur jedem empfehlen sich bei Amazon umzuschauen und hier das Originalprodukt für einen Bruchteil vom Preis eines Sanitätshauses zu kaufen. Klare Empfehlung!!!
