Helpful Kitchen Tool
I've only had a chance to use this once. To be sure it worked correctly, I also used another thermometer to check the roast I was cooking. Both registered the same. I purchased this mainly because of the 'temperature chart' printed on the front, a handy feature. It has a magnet, though it will not attach to my stainless steel surfaces. The folding probe makes it easy to store and the [probe] fastens in place when closed. However, the same is not true when fully opened. Nothing holds it there. When I was pushing the probe into my roast, the thermometer began to fold up, making it awkward to manage. I almost dropped it into the oven. It really should lock in the open position.

Nice thermometer
Nice thermometer, super accurate and easy to use. Received the product like a week ago, I basically used this thermometer to test the food when I cooked, work out perfectly and as I mentioned, super super easy to use. Love it~

Stopped working after 6 months.
Yes, I changed the batteries, this is the 3rd digital thermometer I have used. Husband took my first one, for his work (go figure) and lost it. The replacement he bought worked about a year. This was the replacement. It worked for 6 months. I am ordering another style, and definitely not this brand.

Okay, the product works. Don't know why it wouldn't turn on for a few days other than it got wet from steam? Hopefully I can keep it functioning.

Unnecessarily bulky
This is accurate and it works well, but it is quite large and uncomfortable for my female hand to grip.
