Dewalt DCL043N DCL043 N 18V XR Cordless LED Flashlight Work Light - Only Body

I already have the standard US Version (North American distribution) of the DCL043. I ordered this knowing the light was intended for distribution outside the US.I found no reason this light would not work with the North American marketed 20V Max batteries. The batteries are same worldwide, just the sticker is different. 20V Max batteries are only 18V nominal voltage. Look at the packaging and Manual for your tools or batteries. There is an asterisk (*) next to 20V* telling you they are only 18V.The point being, for this review, if you desire a work light or spotlight with white LED's, then this is the model to get. I have had the white and red low light US version for a year and find the low red light is more annoying than useful...This will absolutely work with 20V Max XR batteries and is made to the same standard and quality. I really like the 2 white high beam and low beam LED's a lot better than the red low beam version.This comes in a box, not bubble packaging, includes the manual, warranty info and belt clip, just as the North American version does.I have included a handful of photos to show the difference between the product listed, and the North American version.Hope this helps!!!

The DeWalt 18 volt cordless tools have been my choice for many, many years and I have been pleased with them. But In order to use this new light I had to purchase a 20 volt battery and charger for an extra $80. This is not a complaint, as I could have easily returned the light. The five star reviews persuaded me to give it a try. I will try the light then update my review.

I made a point to order this version of the light as the us version has the red light and I'm not interested in that. It is remarkably bright and the light reaches very far. I use a 1.3ah battery with it and it lasts a long time.

Awesome light! This style does not have the red led light and works great as a an extra light while working. I would use this vendor again.

Works great and always have this out for quick use. Very bright and swivel head makes it even more useful. Wish I'd bought one years ago.

ad stated 18 volt, however it wasn't the same battery my tools use.I returned it without trying because I wasn't going to buy different battery's.

Love the product, falls nicely into my tool box of DeWalt tools.
