The paper matches the product pictures, so you can determine for yourself if you like how it looks. Beyond that...I'm a bit of a wrapping paper nerd - by no means an expert, but I always prefer wrapping paper over a gift bag (even for oddly shaped packages) and so I've come to learn what I like in a wrapping paper. This is good wrapping paper; it's nice, thick paper that won't tear too easily, folds and creases neatly without the surface breaking, and stays where you put it when you're folding it. The cutting tool is also a nice design; the paper roll itself guides the cutter for a straight cut across the roll. (If you need to cut width-wise as well, that still has to be done freehand, but the cutter still makes a straight cut more easily than scissors.)One thing to be aware of is the width of each roll. They list this in the product title, so I'm not saying they're hiding anything (though their pictures do seem to go out of their way not to show the full width of the roll); but if - like me - you're not used to converting "numbers of inches" to intuitive understanding of size, then you might be surprised when you see them. (I had hoped to include a picture to show relative size, but the system is "helpfully" cropping the image so that it, to, does not show the ends of the roll, and I can't seem to fix it by lowering resolution, etc. So... suffice it to say it's a little over 1/2 as wide as a 30" roll, which in my experience is a more common width.) Now this is not necessarily a bad thing - for many packages this width will actually be very convenient as you'll only have to cut the right length of paper. Just be aware that this isn't well-suited for larger boxes.I was drawn to this particular product because I was running low on paper suitable for anything but Christmas; this is a quick way to get a few patterns for birthdays or more general gift occasions, and comes with the cutting tool to boot. Even so, be conscious that this isn't the cheapest option out there. Many cheaper papers won't be as nice to work with, but if you were to find the cost hard to justify for a product that is the very definition of disposable... I couldn't blame you. Nonetheless it IS very nice paper, and I'm happy to have it on hand.

I like the paper itself; however the rolls are not standard U.S. wrapping paper sizes This was expected from the reviews. The best part is the cutter which, for the most part, works well.

Very nice wrapping paper set, the package came with four rolls of different design wrapping paper and an amazing cutter. The four rolls of wrapping paper are very small roll. The quality of the wrapping paper are cheap, but still can be use. Love the cutter a lot, it makes cutting much easier, it works with other wrapping paper too. Super easy to cut across the paper without slipping off or making a mess. You do not need to hold on the other end of the paper, simply lay the wrapping paper flat, and hold the cutter and go straight across, it cuts perfectly straight, I was impressed.

It seems like occasions are always popping up and I never have the appropriate wrapping paper. This set fills that need. It comes with 4 assorted rolls. One is for birthdays, and the remaining rolls are generic. All of them are attractive,. the quality of the paper is good but could be a tad thicker. That being said, it is still a good paper. As a bonus, this set includes a cutter that simplifies the cutting process.

This 4-pack of wrapping paper rolls comes with a plastic cutter. While the rolls are small at 17" wide and only 120" in length, the cutter is a larger size to accommodate much larger rolls. Each of the rolls has a different color and design that is representative of the product pictures. The wrapping paper has a good, embossed texture and a decent thickness making the rolls easy to cut, however there are no cut guidelines on the back of the rolls. I was surprised by how easily the cutter is to use and how effective it is, making it far superior to scissors. Do note though that the cutter will cut to length, but scissors may still be necessary to further cut it to size. If one needs a cutter, in addition to multi-occasion wrapping paper, this would be a good kit to get.

This is really nice wrapping paper to use. And for some reason I’m still clumsy with scissors despite my kindergarten teacher’s best efforts—and my mother is a seamstress, no less! Anyway, I often come out with jagged, unattractive edges when trying to cut wrapping paper, so the included cutter is a very handy gadget for me.The paper itself is quite small, much shorter than a typical roll of wrapping paper. If you have a large gift, you’ll have to double up to make it work. I’d actually probably rather do this than end up throwing away odd remnants of paper from cutting a larger roll down to size. I like the patterns, which were just as shown in the listing, and the colors are rich and true.

You're paying for the dinky paper cutter. The paper rolls are so small and short, that I must get more wrapping paper.I feel tricked.

The paper cutter works pretty well. It's good to keep the paper taught while trying to start the cut. The cutter is a good size and should fit just about any type of roll. Only reason I'm taking one star off is because the blade on the cutter isn't replaceable so if it dulls over time, the whole thing will need to be replaced.Also, keep in mind that the rolls of wrapping paper that it comes with aren't full size rolls of paper. Theres a good amount of paper on the rolls but they're shorter than the rolls you'll usually buy in the store.
