I do wish it had longer cables so i didn't have to have motor plugs hooked up for longer cables that i had to make for my printer

These are great JST connectors. They are the fairly common size of 2.54 mm. Of course, you need to have the correct crimping tool already, and wires. I was hoping these might come with some wires, but they didn’t. This is fine, since you’ll probably want to use different wire lengths for different projects, and if you’re buying this, you probably already have spare wire laying around. Generally, this is a great kit with both male and female connectors, covering everything from 2-pin through 6-pin connections. It comes in a nicely labeled storage box as well. I don’t see any reason this shouldn’t get 5 stars!

I do a lot of hobby work that involves JST connectors. This includes things such as 3D printer modifications and wiring up small electronics. I ordered these connectors so I could create my own JST wire bundles.The included storage container has walls that fall off easily. This made it very easy for different parts to mix. I find these styles of storage containers to be irritating, so I'm 3D printing my own.As for the connectors, everything I need except the crimper and the wires are included. The male connectors are pre-assembled. I plugged one of the male connectors into a breadboard to confirm that the pitch is 2.54mm. The pins come on metal ribbons. The pins are easy to wiggle off the ribbon. I was able to properly crimp a pair of wires onto the pins using my crimping tool. The pins held fast to the housing and I was able to insert and remove the female housing into the male connector without the wires falling out.These connectors do exactly what I need them to do and I'm glad I ordered them.

I used this for connecting up a couple wires to the main board on my 3D printer, and it worked really well. I have no issues with the quality.

This is a decent assortment of JST XH series male and female connectors supporting 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 circuits. These connectors are typically used for wire-to-pcb connections in electronics, for both power and signal applications.They're rated for 250V/3A AC/DC, and wire size of 22-30 AWG. The assembled connection will extend 9.8mm from a PCB, not including wire exit/bend radius.Also, note that the XH series pitch of 2.5 mm is effectively identical to the 0.1″ pitch commonly found on prototyping breadboards.If you're looking for a compatible crimper, the "official" JST crimper is part no. WC-110, but it's pretty pricey. Search for "JST XH crimper" for more cost effective options.
