Grilling Corner69871 Grill Electronic Igniter Kit for Weber Spirit 210 & Spirit 310 (2013-2014 Grill Models With Up Front Controls)

The kit that I got did NOT come with instructions. It looks pretty straightforward, but still, other reviewers said that it came with instructions, so I'm disappointed in that. If you do buy this part from Grilling Corner, here's a clue. The white wire from the igniter connects to the yellow terminal on the control unit. The black wire from the igniter goes to the black terminal on the control unit. The two thin wires from the button can connect to the control unit either way.A bigger issue: While installing the new igniter today, I found that the kit I got from Grilling Corner has a protective thermal cover around only ONE of the two pairs of wires, not around BOTH, as shown in the picture. The OEM igniter that I replaced had thermal covers around BOTH pairs of wires. That's important because both pairs of wires pass very close to hot metal surfaces, or are in direct contact with hot metal surfaces, and the igniter might fail when the plastic around the unprotected wires melts, shorting it out. Very disappointed, but too late now to return. The igniter is already in place. If the wire melts and shorts out, I guess I'll have to replace it again. But not with one from Grilling Corner.

My Weber spirit 210 grill started breaking 2 months after the warranty went out on the igniter and gas regulator. This igniter sparks faster than the original and looks and fits exactly like original. I hope it lasts longer than Webers.

This product was very much plug and play. Nothing about the replacement was hard. It took me about 5 minutes total.

Just the perfect part to fix our grill! Thank goodness as I was missing the grilled dinners while our Texas heat eliminating the use of our oven.

Less then fifteen minutes to install. Just used the control box, every thing else was working. Excellent replacement for Weber grill.

Great product at a fraction of the cost retail or from the manufacturer. It works as advertised. It was a good thing I bought the entire unit, turns out my ignitor was good and the sending unit bad.

Worked great in my grill. Instructions were useless, but if you still have the original Weber grill manual it's not too hard to figure out.

It's a shame there isn't an option to buy just the button, as that was all I needed. Installed easily and works fine. I'll try to sell the rest of the kit on eBay, rather than keep it sitting around my garage.
