I own at least half dozen Boblov bodycams. Just when I thought I had the perfect one I tried this one and WOW. Absolutely has to be the easiest foolproof operation. All you do is flip up the on/off switch (which is the ONLY switch on one side) to turn on and then flip down to off. Can do just by feel. I was able to connect via USB cable direct to my iPhone (its a micro-USB, and wish it was USB-C but hey…) and can view and manage the videos right on my phone. Its way smaller than any of the other cameras and the way the clips are designed it can stay very close to your body and won’t move around. Of course helps to wear the right garment (I have vests with molle webbing which works perfect and keeps camera very secure). This is now my everyday bodycam.

I ordered this product for a body camera for documentation. I wore this around the house, mowing the lawn, just going out to check the mail. I wanted to see how it holds up to different situations and see the quality of the camera as well as the sound. How they designed how the camera attaches to clothing or anything else. Is a big misstep and it doesn't attach or clip how it should. When walking, leaning, bending down moving fact. the camera bonuses all over the place and you need to keep adjusting the camera in order for it to not tilt sideways or to keep it upright. When viewing the video footage and play back. The video you're watching is bonusing everywhere you start getting disey from all that. The quality of the video and sound, Amazing.

This is probably a good camera but I had to return it for one reason - the only way to view the recordings is to connect and download the files to a computer (no phone app) so 1) you cannot monitor the view of what’s being recorded in real time, and 2) there is a time lag until you can view your video. Not helpful for emergency situations when you have to show a police officer in the spot.

I need to take pictures of certain hostile people who constantly cross my path. But I want my camera hidden and be under the radar or normal people. This camera is great for that purpose! I love the price too! This films nicely when I'm in my car from any angle I want, as a dash mount only videos the front, and the garmin only films from one angle. I can hold this in one hand as I steer the steering wheel and still be legal under the hands free law. And I can point this thing any direction, and not look sus myself. This is the best camera to remain hidden, as it's very inconscipsous when i clip it to my pocket. or leash or bookbag. I love this thing. It's very easy to open and view the files on my desktop. The one thing I had to learn is to make sure the thing is switched to 'off' when i view the files. The only thing I wish is that the time stamp file was more easily downloaded. it downloads directly to google docs, then google docs automatically zips 'nothing' and makes it impossible for me to access the file. So I'm emailing help support for that.

I sometimes keep a product too long in a box before opening it. My window to return closed. It has no lanyard to keep the recorder secure. I had to make holes on the clip to keep it from getting lost. Even then, the clip is too small to keep it in place and it is never stable. Would have lost it a long time ago had I not created a DIY lanyard. Stopped using it because of how unsteady the placement is. As I mentioned it is always falling from its location and dangles from my self made lanyard.

I needed a body camera because I have a violent neighbor and need evidence for some of the problems he causes. I bought this because it seemed simple to use. It's okay and it takes good video, but I'm not sure I would recommend it. Here's why:1. It is top heavy and not well balanced. It didn't work well in my pocket, as it flopped from side to side and moved too much. I need to make sure it's pointing to my neighbor if he comes out and causes trouble.2. There is no place to attach a lanyard, so I had to make shift a way to attach one. Again, that didn't work, as the camera kept spinning around sideways. I need it to point forward!3. The instructions need to be better.4. Date and time stamping need to be included as a built-in feature, not as a cludgy additional step. As it stands now, you need to go to the internet, download a pice of software, connect your camera to the computer, and configure the date/time stamp feature. I was able to figure it out, but it wasn't exactly conventient, and many people would not put up with this.5. For my purposes, the "record" button needs to be a push button and not a slider button.My need for a body camera is unique, and I need to know that it is pointing to the subject accurately, and I need to be able to start recording immediately! If your needs for a body cam are different and more basic, this camera may work well for you.I hope this helps.

There's a clip on the front and a removable clip on the back. Turn it on and it's recording in either video or audio only mode. There's an option to take snapshots in video mode. There was an SD card inside my unit of 64gb.It came nicely packed with a card reader, a cover for the removed clip, a card reader and a USB cable. It can record video for 90 minutes on a solid charge.This is great for going on small walks, will greatly protect you if you need evidence of self defense against an aggressive stray dog, for example. You can submit the evidence to the police easily with just what's included in this kit.

I have 2 of these. Use one as a car dash cam and the other as a body cam. I use for gig delivery. They are very top heavy if you try to clip to your shirt so I had to experiment with other options. I ended of removing the back clips and installing strong magnets on both. I use a lanyard with a thin metal piece from a phone cradle. I hide the lanyard under my shirt and the magnet holds well. On my car I put a metal piece on the headrest for it to work. The magnet holds well. I like it personally because I made it to be inconspicuous. Magnets help to easy take off and on.
