Good quality, easy to use!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is just such a convenient thing to have. I use it to go to the grocery store and to take things to it from my car to my boat. It is nice and big and holds a lot of stuff. It is very functional and good quality. The wheels roll nice and it cherries a lot of weight!

Lightweight, spacious, and affordable
I am on my 3rd or 4th Smart Cart. I like them. The pluses about the cart are how spacious and flexible the spacing is inside. Also, the top is just a fabric cover, so it is easy to pull across on rainy days or when you don't want others to see all the papers and stuff you are hauling. Most importantly, it is light. I am always lugging stuff home from school and having to put the cart in my back seat. This cart adds very little weight to the load and definitely made a difference. My back and shoulders are happier. The downsides of the cart are, first the handle takes a little while to get the right wrist motion or hand maneuver , to get it to go up and down smoothly; but you'll get it. Also, the wheels are small and the bottom is made of fabric, so you can't just drag it over curbs or you'll have holes in the bottom and broken wheels. My last cart wasn't made as well as previous ones, (I'm hoping the new one I just ordered will be better,) the ribbing at the top came loose after about 5 months and the cart started losing it's shape. Overall, I have never had any cart last longer than a year, especially the way I treat them! They have to be workhorses because I use them everyday and affordable. Knowing that I have to replace any cart I buy every year, this one has been my favorite so far. I didn't give it 5 stars because it isn't as sturdy as I would like it to be. Update- Jan. 2018 I’m still using last year’s cart! It’s losing it’s shape a little. But, no holes, or broken wheels, or major slumping. Yay! I really like this cart.

Doable product
I needed a cart that was able to carry a few bags of heavy groceries (or wine/spirits). : ) The main section of this cart is GREAT -- canvas (not cotton material), is sturdy and its a huge space. I was able to put a case of wine into the compartment with ease! On top of that was able to add a few bags of groceries too! When collapsed, it fits efficiently into the back of my SUV trunk space - does not take up any space at all. There are two minor issues I have with the cart: 1) the handle - it's not sturdy. Does the job for pushing, but if it were sturdier, this product would have gotten a 5-star from me. 2) wheels...if it were 4 wheels (like luggage) - the ease of pushing would be a lot more effortless/efficient. Was it worth the price? My answer is yes because I do not use this on a day-2-day basis.

I've had this cart for an HOUR and I already LOVE it!
I've had this cart for only an hour, but I can already tell it's going to make shopping SO MUCH easier. Neither me nor my roommate drive, and I don't have many friends who drive either. There also isn't much public transport where I live. So I always have to walk to the store. I heard recently that Oregon is going to be banning plastic shopping bags, so I decided to get ahead of the game and look for something better. My nearest store is about five blocks away, so not far enough to be a long walk, but far enough to make two bags of groceries heavy. So my main goal was to find something with wheels. One of my ex roommates used to have a little cart-smaller than a shopping cart, but much bigger than this. At first I thought of finding something like that. I looked at various wheeled cart-type items, and eventually chose this one. When it arrived, it looked like exactly what I needed. Big enough to carry a typical load of groceries (for me, about two bags) but small enough that if I took the bus to Salem, it could easily fit on the seat next to me. I had some issues getting the handle to expand, but that doesn't seem to be a constant problem. It rolls nicely, although the handle isn't very long-Not a problem for me, being 5'3", but if you're any taller than that it might be an issue. I checked, and it's exactly large enough to easily fit the size of a typical shopping basket, meaning that whatever you can get into the basket should be able to fit in the cart. One thing that I do see being a bit of an issue-It's not really strong, so if you tried to put, say, 4 two-liters of soda in it, it might not hold up. But that isn't something I plan on doing a lot. Overall, it's exactly what I needed.

THESE CARTS BREAK AND WARRANTY SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENT AND TIME CONSUMING -- DO NOT BUY
I have bought this cart twice now. I was impressed that it is made in the USA and that it has a strong warranty advertised with a swift response commitment. After the first cart developed a problem with the handle after well over a year, I bought a replacement cart. The same problem arose in well under a year and I contacted customer support. I could not get the handle to extend evenly: "Basically, on one side the handle extends properly, but on the other side the inner section will not extend at all, only the outer section moves when the button is pressed". Their response started as unsatisfactory and then continued as time consuming, non-responsive and ultimately total silence after months of demanding photos, proposing ways I could try to repair the issue (that not only did not work but were unrelated to the problem), and then finally just refusing to respond or repair or replace. This company is worse than useless; I have spent well over an hour and more than 3 months trying to make a warranty claim that they have just walked away from. The cart itself is great, and it collapses quite elegantly, but the handle assembly is its weak spot and renders the cart, in multiple samples, basically unuseable. The company itself, as detailed, just does not stand behind their defective product. A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT AND FAILURE, ON A HARDWARE LEVEL AND A HUMAN LEVEL.

Really great until it broke a year in
I really liked this cart when I first got it -- roomy, easy to use, fantastic on so many levels. A couple weeks ago, though, as I was rolling it across the front door of my building, one of the wheels buckled and I discovered the frame within the cloth covering had cracked. It's still sort of useable, but I definitely need to replace it.

Perfect for board game storage and transportation
I bought mine to store and carry board games, and they get heavy. Packed, it leaves the house about once to twice a month and travels from the house to the driveway and from there to the gaming place which can be between 1-5 blocks. For those short runs, it's fine. If I was pulling it through the city every day I doubt it would hold up long as it just doesn't feel that sturdy over all. I always try to keep in mind where I'm using it and the terrain I'm pulling it over. And I've let it tip out of my hand many times (I was holding the handle poorly - my fault, not it's) and it hasn't spilled any contents (the hook and loop on top flap held it closed) and there was no visible damage to the handle or cloth sides. My recommendation, as a nice "box on wheels" that doesn't get much abuse, it's perfect. Pro: * modern board games (three to four of the 11"x11"x3" style boxes on their ends and assorted smaller stuff packed on the sides and on top) fit well * Full cart of such stuff is *heavy* but there are no signs of stress to the unit and the two strap handles deal with the weight just fine. * The telescoping handle is good height for me (6'2") and while I do occasionally have it smack my feet as I walk and pull it behind me, it's not too often. (If you're tall and you pull luggage or other things from time to time, you'll understand what I mean - it's not that annoying like some carts like this) Con: * telescoping handle is FLIMSY, but it hasn't broken on me yet. While I'm sure it will give out one day, I'm not sweating over it every time I use it. I just try to be careful. * wheels are hard plastic and I'm sure they would die if I used them every day on sidewalks and such, but I don't so I'm not too worried about them either. * outside pouch stretches a bit, but I can just barely get a hard plastic water bottle in it. Otherwise, not much.
