I had wanted a Harmonica since the early 80s and it would have done me good to have one all these decades but I was only now able to order this one. It looks nice and sounds nice but will be more a shelf item now that it came so late in life. I seem to be getting things I once wanted but no longer need.

This harmonica is great for its price point, making it a decent low-commitment option for beginners who want to learn the basics. However, when you want to start getting into learning more intermediate techniques such as bending, you may struggle with this harmonica. It is not very responsive so it is quite difficult to manipulate what the reeds are doing. You may spend weeks trying to master the bend with this harmonica while with a higher quality one it may only take you a few hours.The sound quality is very good for the price and the ergonomics are decent, but the main thing holding it back is the amount of air you have to push through it on the higher notes in order to get a quality sound, and the aforementioned fidelity issues with bending.Overall this is a good harmonica for learning the basics, and has a lot of value for its price. Pretty much the best harmonica you can get for under 10 dollars.

We ordered this harmonica for part of a gift for the Christmas Shoe Box ministry. The quality of this harmonica is amazing for the price and we know some child will be thrilled to get it in their box. I wish I had thought of this in years past and will be ordering more each Christmas.

I was given the wrong colour I ordered black and got red, but otherwise, it's still good.
