Excellent book, terrible quality binding.
The content of the book was great. My son really enjoyed the stories and, from what I saw, the artwork was very good. The quality of the binding, though, was awful. During the first read-through, the binding came apart in several locations throughout the book and the pages fell out. I really wanted to contact the book's publisher, but I couldn't find anyplace on their website to send an email or call. Luckily Amazon is accepting the book back and will replace it. I just hope the replacement is manufactured better -- if so, I'll update my rating.The two star rating is for the quality of the book's binding, not the author's or illustrator's work. I'd highly recommend this book as an excellent introduction to Norse Mythology to elementary school kids.

A great way to learn of the Norse Gods in an accessible format.
This book contains four stories that are also available separately. I love graphic novels as an introduction to stories and fables. I think they make the material accessible for school children and adults alike. The graphics are nice and the stories are well told, introducing the Norse Mythological world and the gods. The stories are fun, and may serve as a springboard to learn more of this tradition.

Great content, but book fell apart
The book content is great, but this fell apart in a few reads. We were then on vacation and missed the return window (you only get a month even if it's not fit for sale!)
