As you can see, the max weight limit is different. Unless you are pretty thin and jump infrequently, I'll not recommend the band.

No, it is pretty noiseless. I'll recommend you put some oil between the spring and frame which will greatly extend the life of this trampoline. I mean rubbing will hurt the steel after all.
