LEGOClassic Ocean's Bottom 10404 Building Kit (579 Piece)

Great starter Lego box. Nice because it's not a series with a popular character featured, like Batman, Ninjago. The night we got it my son and I built something listed in the nice instruction/idea book. We then used the set to make up our own creations. He had his own smaller sets as we were looking to get more for his birthday, but wanted to see his interest first. I also wanted some of my own so I could learn more about how they worked, and I wanted him to teach how to play well with others when they have toys you want to use. This fit the bill.This has a bunch of colorful and unique pieces but few plates. It's good to build a handful of small critters or vehicles, or a small castle. This is a good toe in before trying to buy what you need to make buildings and terrain.

Great set! Lots of possibilities for fun projects and creativity. The numbe of legos for the price is a deal, I think. We were headed to a scuba themed birthday party for a new 5 year old, and this was perfect! He loved it and was so excited to have this as his first set of “little legos”. It is not an overwhelming amount, so the parents won’t be stressed about too many little pieces :) We always lay down a thin blanket first and build on that, so that when it’s time to clean up we can gather the edges and pour the pieces back into the box.

There are so many great things about this LEGO set: vibrant colors, special pieces, adorable things to build (a trumpet, an octopus, and obviously much more). If you already have an extensive LEGO collection, this set is nice because of all the special pieces and otherwise hard to find colors. If you're just starting out with LEGO it's a good set to start out with because of all the fun little projects within the booklet. Glad I bought this.

Great value - I like that it comes with a lot of pieces, but also has some specialty “theme” pieces to build with. I purchased 3 sets for a 3.5 yr old, 4 yr old, and 6 yr old. They were all excited to start building, and while their skills and supervision to build is different, I think this is a good staple to build your LEGO collection.

My kid did love this but only comes with 3 of the total instructions must Download the castle and blue vehicle info off their site. Comes with lots of extras. Wish it came with a non cardboard box for keeping put away. I do recommend for age 5+ my daughter loved it

This was a gift for my 4year old grandson . He loved it especially because the set contained unusual Legos which he found fascinating. The Lego brand never ceases to amaze me as the new sets keep getting better! I strongly recommend this unique set for any Lego fan age 3- infinity.
