Well, this lure produces results for sure. It's really attractive to the fish because of the natural colors -- it's got a greenish back, specks, and a shiny insert. There's somewhat of a hollow body that allows it to fall slowly and remain horizontal. I was impressed at how horizontally balanced it was with the included hook. Took it to a pond to fish this using the included texas rig hooks, and I was the only person to pull up bass that day. I will note though that I would NOT prefer to use these lures using the enclosed types of hooks unless I absolutely needed the weedless condition, because they are not very durable. More concerns about durability below.So I also went out to the backbay to kayak fish up some flounder. These KILLED it; however, the fish killed the lure too. See enclosed photo. My concern is that1), I learned that there is actually a rattle in this lure,2), both the rattle and the shiny insert falls out after the lure rips open, which happens quite easily.This leaves me with the following conundrum: this is introducing waste into the water. I love fishing. I love catching fish. But I do have an issue with unnecessary littering, and I had no idea this had rattlers in it because it wasn't in the product description. I hesitate with my rating because it indeed produced results; however, I'm concerned about how easy it is for these lures to just break open. Before you go, "well that's just how plastic lures go," there are other types of materials out there that are very flexible and will last until your line snaps from a big fish or you snag it on a log or something. I hope this company would invest in more durable materials, because I love the pattern.

These are very nice-looking soft plastic baits similar to others that have been very successful for me. They come with hooks that are very sharp and sized nicely for the swimbait. They have a shiny material on the inside that makes them look very much like a tiny minnow.It's very important to insert a hook properly so that a plastic swimbait moves correctly and does not twist the line. I like that these have an indentation at the top which makes it much easier to insert the hook and determine exactly where it should exit the plastic bait. I have some baits that are more weedless by having the hook sit in this indentation without effecting the ability to hook a fish. The hooks that come with this swimbait tend to sit higher than I would prefer but I don't expect that to be a problem and look forward to using them on the water very soon.

Full Disclosure: I've caught nothing on these. BUT, that could be because of where I'm fishing--urban setting that isn't super productive. ALSO, I question how good the action is underwater because of the tail design being a thin line rather than a paddle or twister tail. Other reviewers remark that they are very soft, which is true. They are softer than a real minnow or other tails I use. I'm not ready to call this a fault quite yet, but if I burn through these packs quickly, it will be. I would avoid using them where northern pike and other sharp obstacles are abundant.

I’m very pleased with how well these very lifelike soft lures worked at getting strikes. They definitely give the look and movement of an injured bait fish. All different game fish in both salt and freshwater will want to bite these. I’ve caught many different species on the same rig which speaks to the durability of these lures. They will show wear and tear over time but hold up very well . You can present these rigs in different ways- either by cast and retrieve, trolling, drop shot, jigging or even Carolina rigging these. They work well for trout and bass species . They are relatively inexpensive. The look, feel and versatility of use with these makes me very happy. I’m grateful to have found them.

Super realistic minnow baits with sharp hooks great for all species of fish.

the lures have a little bit of reflective material in them that reminds me of aluminum foil. im going on a fishing trip soon and ill see how these do. the hooks are fantastic and perfect size for medium to large bass. ive used the hooks with different lures and caught a good number of small and largemouth bass on them.
