Raqpak Tent Stakes Aluminum Pegs 10 Pack with Pouch (Yellow, 7.5 Inches)

I bought these for my son and his girlfriend who were a) weedy b) novice campers and c) about to start on a Europe-by-train camping trip for two months. They are incredibly light compared with the metal pegs that came with their four man hiking tent, and also much smaller. Left enough room in their backpacks to fit in yet another pair of shoes. They were very pleased with them, and said that they were easy to spot when striking the tent. Their only criticism was that the small top made them more difficult to hammer in.

Cheaper than other competing products and you get more! Fantastic bit of kit, did not bend at all and were far superior to the pegs that came with the tent. It is semi Geodesic and these really helped pin it to the ground. I just wish you got 12 as I could do with 2 more, but I'm just going to buy another set and have some spares in case they do ever bend.The reflective para-cord at the tips allow for easy removal without exposing your hands to the cold metal. The reflective capabilities are subtle but noticeable from within camp. I cannot recommend this product enough!

Excellent stakes, very light, very secure in most soils. they do scratch very easily but once in the ground who is going to notice. Nice reflective cord on the end, which makes it easier to spot at night. nice mesh bag too

Lightweight, strong, great colour so we can see them around the tent. I like the chord loop at the end of each peg to make pulling them out of the ground easier.

The strength to weight ratio on these pegs is excellent. Unless your pitching your tent on rock or sheltering in a polar, Himalayan death-zone or desert environment I can't see why you'd need any other peg.They are far superior to the pegs that come with most shelters and I can't recommend them enough.

Brilliant bit of kit. Not as lightweight as expected but very sturdy and unlikely to bend like other tent pegs. They've got handy pull cords attached to help remove them from the ground. Definitely a step up from what most tent manufacturers provide as standard.

Great value! Just using for hammock tarp so not worried about the weight as I only take 4. They're a little bit bulkier than regular pegs but stay in the ground much better. Good value alternative to Terra Nova Laser Competition tents' stock pegs.

These pegs are light and strong. The bright colour is a bonus when you are searching the ground for stray pegs. The cord makes them easy to pull out. The only problem was that they are sold as a pack of 10 but there were only 9 pegs in the pack I bought. Perhaps the packer had a missing finger? My tent really needs all 10.
