This was purchased solely to view the 4/8 eclipse. I was skeptical about the reliability of the phone mount as others in the past that I've purchased had failed or flat out broke. The one that came with this unit was strong, did not break, and held the phone in place on the scope flawlessly.Taking pics of things like this is a task because of the extreme angle that you have to look, locate and keep steady while maintaining focus. The tripod did no good for this, but does work otherwise for flatter positions. The optics of this scope was very clear and worked exactly as I was hoping, it's built well and will now will be used for taking pics of the moon. Keep in mind to take good quality pics with a phone requires you to go mess with "pro" settings in your camera app as the standard settings usually aren't great. The phone will also gravitate to its bottom while mounted on the scope eyepiece meaning if you want to zoom in more from say 20x to 40x you will first need to remove camera adapter, turn it to 40x and then reapply it, otherwise the phones weight just pulls it back down if you try to turn it, not really a big deal but can be tedious at times.All in all, the scope is of good quality, it was reliable and functioned as needed when it was most critical. The other parts that came with it were equally as good. I'm happy I bought this and will continue using it for other endeavors. For the price and quality it's well worth the purchase, and I would recommend this scope to anyone on a budget.

The clarity of this scope is bright! It was a great value for me. It fits my space and is very functional. The adjustment once you become familiar with are easily adjustable.

I ordered this scope for wildlife photos and target shooting and it doesn't disappoint. Heavy piece, not cheap plastic. Comes with a nice neoprene zip up case and phone adapter. I had a small issue with the focus mechanism but customer service was on the ball and got me taken care of quickly. Optical clarity is way above expectations, can clearly see fine details on birds and targets over 100 yards. Overall very nice scope for the money.

The image quality? Remarkably high-definition. If not for the ambient noise—read mosquitoes—I could've optimized the focus for even sharper images. Though not designed for astrophotography, i am pretty happy with the picture. After some research, i bought the IBQ spotting scope and so pleased after used it for about Week, and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a monocular.I bought this monocular specially for my 13 years old daughter to watch the woodpicker birds near our house. There is a giant half-dead tree about 50 yards from our backyard and almost everyday, we can hear the loud sounds from the woodpicker working on the tree trunks. My daughter is always fascinated by the sounds and wish to have one telescope so she can watch the bird much cleared. We tired the hand-held binoculars at first and it is difficult to hold it still enough for continuous watching, until I bought her this IBQ monocular- it is totally a game-changer for bird watch :-). She couldn’t be happier with the image quality and easiness to setup on the deck table outside. I wish I bought her this earlier and highly recommend this high-quality product to anyone who has the interest.If you decide to buy one, this is the one you should consider giving the affordable price and superior quality you will get! I always want a spotting scope for range shotting and wild life watching. But most of the scopes in the market are over 1000 dollars. Recently, I saw someone use this scope in the range. I tried it and feel it is pretty good for under 200 dollars. For the price, I expected a little more clarity on higher magnifications. The tripod was too flimsy and allow the scope to fall over with the slightest little bump

Quality is great and feels pretty heavy. It comes with a tripod, which is necessary for a 60x85 scope like this. Image is clear. Besides, it also comes with a phone adapter so that I am able to view thru the phone or take a picture. Tried the moon viewing tonight and it was a wonderful experience to see a much much brighter and clear moon. The tripod helped a lot in holding the position of the scope, otherwise it would be easy to lose the target (the moon) at 60x85. I recommend this to whoever needs an upper level scope. Worth the price.
