Works just as advertised
Following discovery and treatment for mold in my home, I was advised by the treatment company to get a dehumidifier for my home.I did some research and settled on this one. Part of the advice I read online was to buy one bigger than what you think you need. So that is what I did. Little did I know that this product would begin to pull almost 3 gallons of water a day out of my home! Where does it all come from? I have no leaks, but I live in a very humid part of the country. So far it has run none stop for 2 months. It shuts off reliably when full. It signals when it needs to empty. The sleeping mode is quiet and runs more slowly, so it can go all night without waking me. I definitely have not regretted it.

works great.
Will cost a small fortune in electricity.

Works as designed, follow instructions
Pulled about a gallon of water a day from my bedroom. I like that it shows the current humidity level. Yes, I empty the tank at least twice a day, but that's to be expected, none of these dehumidifiers have large tanks. The full alarm beep is not continuous like someone said. Of you're using the hose make sure your hose doesn't go back up on its way, otherwise the air bubble will force the water to back up and spill on the floor... guess how I know that? I am planning putting it on a high shelf and running a longer, custom hose to my bathroom. My large bedroom feels a lot better, the first day the room humidity went from 68 to 53%. I'd recommend this for any one single large room if you have high humidity. If you have less humid environment I'm sure it would work for the advertised 4500ft²

Good machine, tank is too small
I really like this dehumidifier. We had severe flooding here and my basement took in water. I was looking for an affordable dehumidifier to help dry out the carpet in the basement. This is fairly light and it it's quiet when it's on. My only complaint is that the tank is too small and I have to empty rather frequently, but really, the quality and the way it works, tank size isn't too big a deal.

Seller can't afford milk for her baby...DMS from seller are unsettling.
The device worked fine for a short period. Now the device turns itself off after a few minuets of use. It shows an untrue humidity as well. After reaching out to the seller, they were kind enough to offer a refund or to replace the product. I appreciate the customer support.A message from the seller.... after I edited the review to show a more positive spin."still noticed your message. The last person who sent you a message: Bee She has been fired. My superior told me that if this message still doesn't disappear before this month. I will be deducted one month's bonus. Please forgive me, Amber, I am a single mother. It is always not easy to raise a child alone, this one month's bonus can buy two bottles of milk powder for my child. I hope you can see my message and help me, thank you. Sally"

This thing does a fantastic job
This unit sucks so much humidity from the air. I wish it had a bigger reservoir for when I can’t use the hose, but that’s my only (not really) complaint. Love it.

It's okay
It doesn't seem like this would really be effective for 4,500 sq ft. Yes it does pull water out but not as quickly as my other dehumidifier which was only rated for 1500 square feet (Vremi 22 Pint 1,500 Sq. Ft. Dehumidifier Energy Star Rated for Medium Spaces and Basements https://a.co/d/4NzSwYB). Also the tank is pretty small and awkward to empty -- no handle. And the tank gets filled up to the top so you will spill water trying to empty it. They do include a hose which is nice and as long as you elevate the machine above the drain it will continuously drain just fine. Like any dehumidifier, it makes the room pretty hot. It would be a nice option to be able to vent the hot air outside with a dryer hose or something. At any rate it works well enough that it's not worth returning, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Also works in the living room.
We got this for the garage, but we are using it in the living room. It takes up about two square feet - including the drain hose into a bucket. You have to empty the bucket twice a day to prevent overflow. The machine has a day and a night mode for quieter operation at night. It works better than expected and removes enough humidity from the air so that the AC isn't on all the time. The cats also like it. Five out of five stars!
