My dog likes this bed so much that clicked ordered him a second. I clicked on re-order, expecting the same dimensions as shown in my original purchase, but the bed I got is much too big for my dog. It's $40 down the drain, because I can't go to the post office during the pandemic. :(

We just got this delivered 2 days ago & this is the 3rd bed we've gotten for our 1 yr old, 21 lb mixed breed pooch ( 2 from the shelter where we adopted him from) & now yours. He is a chewer & inevitably, after a few months, we'll find stuffing in the morning from holes he's made in the beds...so it'll be interesting to see how long this one lasts. It does fit perfectly in his sleeping area & I always cover his beds in a sheet to try to discourage chewing for as long as I can. In my opinion, the stuffing on this one could be firmer...that's my only negative since he seems to enjoy it. We don't allow him in it during the day - we have another crate for him when we go out but, his nights have been peaceful.

I'm going to give this bed a chance, but so far it's not a good bed for my puppy out of the box. I really want to like this bed and will see if my 10 month old puppy likes for a few more weeks.PROS: Nice fabric, nice construction, looks great, especially with the brown and train conductor fabric! SUPER SOFT, cuddly sherpa.CONS: The bed is pretty lightweight and flimsy, the bolstered edges are not very firm. Because it is so lightweight, it's easy for a dog to pull around, even with the "anti-skid" bottom. I really wanted a dog bed where the pad is NOT removable and the product description on here is very vague. Only in the title does it say "Detachable" but no where in the photos do they reveal that the fabric below the pad is very thin, and the plush cushion is too small (HxW), leaving a lot of space around the edges for dogs to lose toys, treats, etc. Within 3 minutes my dog pulled the cushion out. Dogs like to naturally paw and dig in the crevices around a bed, and once a cushion flys up out of place, they have no cushion. I guess the benefit of the removable pad is for cleaning. But I'd rather it be permanent.

The photo is misleading, especially if you buy the larger bed. In the picture, the bed looks like it has more cushioning on the bottom and define sides. After my pet used the bed for a couple of days, the cushion becomes really flat and not very comfy. The sides are still raised, but more like a roll pillow. I machine washed it and tumble dried it and it got a little fluffy again. The bed is fine, and I like that it is organic cotton. Would like to see more padded cushioning at the bottom.

My country cat, Sam, is 23+ pounds but is a gentle giant. We used to live on a farm and he pretty much took his many naps wherever he wanted.....even in my 10' planter box out front! (Yes, I had many smushed flowers but just love that Sam.) Now that we're townies, Sam did not really have his own bed so when I saw this lovely item, I knew it was perfect for him. I now find the big lug happy and snoozing, cuddled up in the warm and well cushioned kitty bed. By the way, this is a quality cat bed! Very nicely appointed, washable, good siding to provide that cuddle feel and did I say it is LARGE? Yes! My huge Sam says thank you!!

I recently bought the Smiling Paws Pets Cat Bed. It is a self warming cat bed. I will say that when I first got the bed and took it out of the box, my kitty went in the box. I was concerned that he would not like the new bed and he was shy at the beginning of using it. However, as I type this he is now in the bed and has been so all day. My cat is 15 years old and I wanted him to have a nice, warm place to sleep. He loves his new bed and I am sure your kitty would love it too.

This bed stole my dog from me. I once had a sweet, lovable Basset Hound pup who would fall asleep in my lap, long ears askew. And then the bed came, and she forgot all about mommy's lap. Also, like any obsessed dog owner, she sleeps in bed with us (you know, a human bed). But then we got this dog bed, and she now literally jumps off of the sleep number bed to lie down on her dog bed. Because I still need my puppy cuddles to fall asleep, I have to put her dog bed on top of the human bed and only then is she satisfied. If anything, this bed is too good.Dog pictured is approximately 20 pounds. Also, I've washed it several times and it has held up well. I tumble dry with no heat and it retains its shape perfectly.

Just got it so I don't know how easy it is to wash yet but the weight makes me think it will be good. I ordered two so there is one in the living room and one in the bedroom. It is very soft and my dog Henry, jumped right into it and buried his nose into the bed and rolled onto his back! Makes me think it's Dog Approved!! I didn't pay attention to the size I ordered and it was too big for him (he's a Chaweenie; the bed could fit three more dogs), but he didn't seem to mind. I think he enjoys the extra space to roll around. So far, WE LOVE IT!
