Very high build quality and great specifications........is it needed..?!
I have typically enjoyed uGreen products and this 1.5m cable certainly has to be included.See photosThe box and presentation is superb, but I would expect so considering the price.A nice touch are the protective end caps for the ethernet plugs.Everything about the cable, and plugs, oozes quality. The weight of the cable, it is heavy for its size. The diameter is thicker than a pencil and it would be classed as being semi rigid, if you need some bends in the cable do so before plugging it in. That way you are not adding stress to the sockets. In that sense the cable is not super flexible. With thick braiding and 26AWG cables, pure copper, it is not going to be.But, for me, it was to connect my newly installed FTTP connection router to the ONT box, a short run that the 1.5m was perfect for.So, what did I notice since replacing either a cheap flat CAT 6 cable or the absolute flimsy supplied CAT 5E cable that came with their supplied router..?Absolutely nothing.....!The pings are exactly the same. The highs and the lows of speed etc are no different. Changing the HUB 2 router to my Asus AX88U, again exactly the same.I have had a 500Mb FTTP install, just recently done.Pings are typically 7ms or so, about half of what I was getting with a FTTC connection. The speeds are around 540Mb/s, the same regardless of which cable is used. For me use I bought this cable for the assurances it offers me. I know, going of the specifications that any latency or connection issues will not be down to the connection between the ONT box that comes into our property and the router it is connected to. If and when I change to go to a 1Gb FTTP connection perhaps the value of this cable might be realised more.I am happy enough with the money I paid, not cheap, but for the peace of mind and assurance that I have the best cable connected between the two above mentioned devices. For that reason I am content with it and pleased with the purchase.I would recommend this cable but you would need to ask yourself do you need that feeling of assurance, or perhaps some other feature that a very high quality Cat 8 cable would offer you over that of a cheaper CAT 7 type..?I hope this has been helpful.

Quality product
I had struggled with bad internet while playing competitive games on my pc, however after using this high quality cable, my performance instantly improved and ping lowered to only 5. Overall a quality product at a great price.

Looks and feels great, even if Cat 8 is pointless for most
On first glance, it’s clear that some thought has gone into the look of this cable, particularly the connectors, which go really well with my Xbox. It’s perhaps a little odd, given that it’s going to be hidden away behind said Xbox, but for what it’s worth it definitely looks the part. The cable is nicely braided (which I always like to see), with gold-coloured connectors; they aren’t entirely snagless, as the clips are the part-covered kind that don’t snag when the cable is pulled one way but do snag when it’s pulled the other, but they feel really solid, unlike many of the clips you get today. If UGREEN’s fancy graphics are to be believed, the cable’s innards are just as good as the outside, but without cutting it open I can’t say for sure. I tested the cable using the H2testw LAN speed test program to send various test files between my PC and NAS and the read/write results were as good as I have seen from an Ethernet cable. This was hardly a real-world test, but it’s one I’ve used before and does in my experience give a good indication of a cable’s overall quality, including the internals. As I have said in the past, there’s only so fast you can go with today’s home network connections, and nowhere near the 40Gbps this cable can supposedly handle, but it’s nice to have the option.

Worth it
Increased my Xbox X download speed to 750mps whilst dropping packet loss from 44 to 0. Very worth the price.
