Flavor Review
I have tried a sampler pack from Vega website because I was curious about different flavors. And here is what I find.Note that each flavor has different weight/servings per Large Tub. Flavored one seems to have 2 servings less than Natural.1) Natural (30.4oz, 22 servings): it is my favorite because it has least amount of artificial flavoring. I like it a lot better if I mix with 50% coconut water and 50% water with some ice to keep it cold. Even my son who is 14 drinks this without any complaining. I add a bit of green tea powder to enhance the flavor, and it works for me.2) Coconut Almond (29.4oz, 20 servings): My son's favorite flavor, and I like it too except it is a bit more sweeter than Natural Flavor. I think the flavor complements the Vega Vegetable powder3) Vanilla Chai (30.8oz, 20 servings): The combination works but one has to like Chai tea to like it. I do not really care for Chai Tea, but I can tell the flavor combination works.4) Vanilla: It did not give any impression in any way.5) Chocolate: I guess it is very common but the chocolate flavor does not really work with Vega powder. I can drink it if I have to, but it was not that good.6) Mocha: I certainly would not drink this again. I really like mocha and I enjoy coffee, but the combination simply does not work at all and it looks like mud.7) Mixed Berry: I could not finish this flavor. Vega is not cheap so I really wanted to drink it but I couldn't. I would have thought Berry and Vegetables would work together but not in this combination.

I've tried Vega before, and it's better than I remember
I tried all of the different flavors of Vega back when it was a new thing, and back when I was freshly vegan. It wasn't bad, but I didn't have any real need for a protein powder. Now I'm busy, and need something I can just grab in a hurry. Plus, the multivitamin I was taking just had way too much niacin in it (almost 400% of your daily intake.) Another great thing about Vega is that they've added probiotics in the new formula (well, this is actually the third formulation, and I guess they added probiotics in the 2nd). I've cut out my multivitamin and probiotics and just started taking this instead.I like the natural flavor. I haven't tasted the other flavors since they redid the formula, but they were always off-putting to me before. The natural is a nice base that you can simply mix with water and drink, or which you can blend with whatever you like to put in your shakes. The stevia makes it slightly sweet. It isn't grassy like some "natural" flavored products can be.My girlfriend described it as chalky. That's not something I noticed, but I've used protein powders before, so that may be why. If you haven't, you may have the same reaction as she did.I find that it mixes well in water with just a fork to stir. I usually stir a scoop into about 16 ounces of water, and then let it sit for a couple of minutes for the flax and chia to hydrate and thicken the drink. Then I stir again to make sure there aren't any clumps.I've recently started cutting out gluten, soy, and processed sugar, so this was a good choice for me.Oh, and the original only had 15 two-scoop (60g) servings per container. The natural Vega One has 24 one-scoop (45g) servings that are 50% larger than the original scoop. Weight-wise, you're getting 20% more product, and you're getting more variety in your diet. We don't need 100% of our daily nutrients from a single drink. That's obscene. The variety is a good thing.

Head over heels in love!
I am really surprised with the negative reviews regarding this product. I am truly, and completely, in love w this protein powder. Aside from all the nutritious benefits, it tastes amazzzzzing. However, I will preface that I only like one flavor: natural. I do not have a sweet tooth. In fact, I typically don't crave sweets at all. With that being said, the natural is a nice, light, vanilla flavor that is oh so satisfying. I purchased a sample of the regular vanilla flavor and it was way too sweet. I do not blend this in any way. I use a shaker bottle w almond milk and ice. I have to say, that the medium in which you mix this with, will have an impact. For example, I didn't have time to go to the store to purchase my staple almond milk and bought a different brand (Silk) at a drugstore and it tasted awful (wasn't enjoyable at all). Keep that in mind when you don't like the flavor. I also don't feel the need to add fruit or other additives. If the color turns you off, buy a darker bottle and you won't notice the green tint. Also, with most protein powders, you will taste the powder. If that turns you off, don't drink protein powders. While this isn't made to be a meal replacement, it keeps me satiated for hours. My only complaint is the price. The big tub has 22 servings. I cannot understand why they won't make one w 30 servings, as a month supply. Especially when I am buying a monthly subscription.
