Q: Is this suitable for winter ?

Only as an extra later I would say. We use a 2.5 tog sleeping bag in winter. There are great charts on Pinterest (and probably Google search) showing suggested layers for different tenperatures.

Yes our swaddles have been tested under REACH annex 17. Which is the EU regulations and same standards as BS.

Q: Do you have to take the swaddle off completely to change the baby’s nappy?

Yes u do. There is a Velcro system in place on it. You put the babies legs in first.. this section then comes up to the tummy and u wrap the left arm flap securing it to the Velcro on the tummy and then the right arm flap secures to the Velcro on the left shoulder. Sounds complicated but is not at all. I found this product brilliant. I swadled my first 2 boys in blankets and then came across this for my 3rd. It's a fantastic gadget. Would highlu recommend it.
