As far as it comes to blankets this is very thin. The good thing is that it is very portable and easy to carry everywhere.The materials pretty soft and can be easily clean from the sand. I do not recommend it if you plan to use it on wet sand as it is not waterproof

I purchased this item to use for a picnic at the park. It does not work on a wet surface but sizing is amazing. See below for a breakdown of my thoughts.PROSAmazing large towel. We sat 5 adults on this with plenty of extra room for movement.A great heavyweight suede material - lay flat on the ground and won’t move around with movement.Soft to the touch.Packaging is adorable. This towel comes with its own little packing pouch which makes storage neat and tidy.CONSDoes not work with a wet surface. 10 minute in after laying this on wet grass, all of us sitting on this were soaking wet. The moisture travels right through and you end up feeling like sitting on a wet cold towel.The suede material does not extract dirt well. I toss the dirt filled towel into the washing machine when coming home from the park and it comes out with faded dirt spot after the detergent wash. The pristine white color won’t last long depends on where you decide to use this.FINAL THOUGHTIt would be great to see more darker color options for this item.

Other than having to use things to hold down the four corners ( disappointing) i thoroughly enjoy this!

I didn't buy these towels for the beach. I bought them for the bath.25 - 30 years ago, my wife and I bought some double size beach towels for bath towels. They worked fine but are getting very worn out.At this time, my wife is disabled and can't stand for more than a few seconds. When she steps out of our new walk-in tub, she is able to sit down directly on the end of these towels with plenty left over to dry her off. They are absorbent and work well for our needs. Even after washing, they aren't exactly soft or fluffy, but that isn't of importance for our needs. I would recommend them as bath sheets for anyone in similar situations.

So I thought this was gonna be like a normal towel. I didn’t see that it’s actually microfiber so I was disappointed when I first opened it- but it’s actually even better than an oversized towel for laying on at the beach!! It’s so lightweight, soft, and folds up so small. It is plenty spacious for my husband and I to relax on.

We are using the blanket for a different purpose than advertised - to keep our cats from getting fur all over the bed in guest bedroom. It is perfect. It covers a queen size bed, is soft and easy to clean. So I would especially recommend it to keep unwanted fur off of furniture. But it can be really handy to put on the floor where a baby is playing or be the start of a fun tent. And it's great to take quick naps on too.

I love this blanket. I used this at the beach for about a week and a half and it was wonderful. Sand brushed off easily. Dries quickly. Not only is it useful but super cute. I was a little worried about stains since its white but My husband spilled some red juice over it and I was able to get it out with some spot remover twice applied and it washed out great. Very impressed! It's also really soft :)

These need to be available in more options
