OmniEdge Non-Slip Quilter's Ruler, 4 x 36 in

Q: How does this compare to the O'lipfa version of the same thing? Is one better than the other?

O lipfa is far better, I plan to by this one. The plastic piece that makes the lip cracked when I attached it to the ruler, I glued it and can use it but I will never buy it again. Did a complaint style review and got no response.

Q: It states 3 pack for $31.34 does that mean you received 3 (4"x 36") rulers?

It's only one per order. The "3-pack" is an error on the part of the seller. I would suggest the Olipfa 4"x36" at $14.99 . It's just about the same.

Q: How breakable/tough? What happens when they are dropped? I'm tired of throwing broken plastic rulers away!!

The first one I ordered came broken in the mail but the packaging was flimsy. The seller replaced it immediately with no hassle and the replacement was received in good condition. I've dropped mine a couple of times on a carpeted floor and it did not break. The thickness of the plastic is the normal thickness of sewing rulerssn you'd find in stores but given the extra length of this ruler it could snap if you whip it around with enough force. That said, I love the convenience of this extra long ruler.

Q: Can I purchase just the black edge piece that holds the ruler flush against the mat? I seem to have lost mine.

Not sure, but if it was me, I would check with a fabric store on line, under rulers, or with the manufacturer of the ruler. Don't know why someone wouldn't sell it. Hope this helps some.
