Pros:-Working like a charm. Cons:- (1) Impossible to initial setup wirelessly. Need to connect the hub once with RJ-45 ethernet with the router (thanks to Jio, my jio airfiber router had 4 ports). Also, the hub need to have power cable connected all the time. (2) No spare battery for the bell unit, 2nd day of use and the battery showing 94%. (3) Inital setup of hub is tricky (manual not very clear about it, first the hub need to be connected to router with ethernet, then 'use wireless' need to be selected from tapo app then add the bell.) else it won't work.

A month in service, the hardest part of TP Link Tapo is the first setup. There wireless setup doesn’t work due to outdated firmware and demands a physical modem and wired ethernet connection! Most non-tech savvy people will find it hard to execute and the installation instructions aren’t easy to follow either. The battery is barely charged and needs at least 6 hours to get to 100%, also the charging port is a micro usb-b type adding another cable to my household out of the box. After getting the hub and camera paired, I placed the former in my room, added a micro SD card and attached the camera to my door using the 3M sticker provided in the package, which meant no drilling and adding screws to the door. The glue holds steady, as my unit is indoor and away from sun and weather. Within first day of use, the AI video capture was able to record all detected motion from people, cleaners and also one instance of a street dog breaking in to crew on trash. There are tons of customisation in the app, including detection zone, alexa or google home pairing and option to share the device access to more people. The video quality is quite crisp, I can easily distinguish faces upto 4m away and the wide angle lens provides a huge field of view. The bell comes with an instant response with option to video-call on your phone. The sound quality is decent and so is the video. However, there’s significant buffering when you want to watch the live view. Once it gets running, there’s no lag. For the price tag, it does an amazing job with a good value for money with added security.

Nice one does it job , like the battery backup

It’s been only 3 months and it does not even switch on. It’s poor quality. It’s fully charged but doesn’t switch on only. Poor customer service no one reverts. I have emailed but there is no response. It’s such an expensive and important item for a household but these guys are selling just products that will make your life worst. The customer care number is not mentioned only option is to send feedback on app. The email id is given somewhere on google where you will have to wait for days. Not considering at all that a doorbell bought is of extreme importance in a home. I would not recommend this to be bought if you’re looking for something which will ease your life.

It's a great one. But remember there are no spare batteries. That means the door bell doesn't work while you're charging and that is a good 4-6 hours of no video and no bell. Otherwise it's great. Camera is good. Memory card is in the hub. Size is quite large. Connectivity to hub is tricky the first time. Then you get used to it. Battery lasts 3 days with increased motion detection.

Funciona perfectamente, he tenido varios modelos de diferentes fabricantes y este es con diferencia el que mejor funciona, es rápido a la hora de conectarte, las imágenes son muy buenas, el que tenga el hub/timbre en el interior con la tarjeta es todo un acierto. Compra muy recomendable

Cette sonnette est top ! Le champ de vision est fort large et très net pour une sonnette. La sonnette détecte les mouvements, les personnes et les animaux et peut nous envoyer des notifications via l’application « Tapo » qu’il faut télécharger. Lorsque quelqu’un sonne, cela déclenche un appel sur notre téléphone comme si quelqu’un nous appelait réellement, cet appel nous permet de visualiser les personnes, les entendre et de leur parler. On peut voir le niveau de batterie de la sonnette en temps réel et l’application nous notifie du pourcentage. De plus, la sonnette est très facile à configurer, le HUB permettant de relier la sonnette à la maison est déjà présent dans la boîte.

Praktisch, zuverlässig und sehr alltagstauglich Wir nutzen die Video-Türklingel mit Akku im Alltag und möchten sie nicht mehr missen. Die Installation war einfach, da kein fester Stromanschluss nötig ist. Der Akku hält lange durch und lässt sich unkompliziert wieder aufladen. Die Videoqualität ist klar, auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen, und die Bewegungserkennung funktioniert zuverlässig. Besonders praktisch finden wir, dass wir über die App sofort sehen, wer vor der Tür steht – auch wenn wir unterwegs sind. Für uns eine sinnvolle Ergänzung für mehr Komfort und Sicherheit.
