A coffee bean is called a "Peaberry" when one of the two beans within the coffee cherry does not develop, allowing for one large, egg shaped bean to develop within the cherry. Many coffee aficionados believe that Peaberries, when roasted, have more intense, fruity flavor with ideal levels of acidity. Only about 4% or 5% of all Kona coffee is Peaberry.Our Vienna Roast, is a medium roast that suits Kona Coffee Peaberry beans very well. Situated between the darker French Roast and the lighter American Roast, the Vienna Roast brings out the desired nutty, chocolatey and slight cinnamon overtones of 100% Kona Coffee.
