If the company took the word blade off the discripton and just called it a divider - would solve a lot of problems with delivery.

The picture of this item is juice extractor or divider blade?

The above picture is neither.It looks like a steamer basket that you can use with the divider blade. The divider blade is 3 pieces of stainless steel joined together (they look similar to a fan) that drop in your pan to divide the space in to 3 sections making it so you can use 1 pan to cook 3 different things at the same time without them all mixing together. A very handy object to have in the kitchen.Hope this helps you. xx

Listing says 18cm. it then says it fits 20 cm pressure cookers & gives dimensions as 24.1 x 24.1 x 7.6 cm. so is it 18 or 20cm? many thanks.

Hi, It fits into a 20cm saucepan perfect. I don't have a pressure cooker anyway so wouldn't know the size of them so I use mine in my ordinary everyday saucepan without any problem at all. I find mine very handy when you don't want to cook heaps of veg. etc., as it saves you using separate pans for lesser amounts. I also bought one for my friend, who lives alone now, and she finds it very handy now she is only cooking for one. Hope this information helps you. Take care. Xx

Can it be used to cook beans in one and tinned tomatoes in the other at same time? Or would food leak under the divider?

The sauce/juice on the food would seep under the divider as you suspect, I have used mine for cooking 2 or more small portions of veg eg green beans, cauliflower and carrots and it works well. You need a divided pan for beans and tinned tomatoes.
