Small, hard to grab toys
This claw machine is small. Smaller than other ones I've seen in store. We actually bought a different one in a store last year for 5 bucks cheaper and it was a little bigger, functioned better, and just felt like better quality overall. With this one, it is hard to pick up the toys. The plush are too flat for it to grab. It is easy enough to control and for young kids to get the hang of, but the grabber just doesn't grab these very well.If you want to put some other lightweight, not so flat, but still small toys in, it would probably work a little better.Even with my own complaints about it from the parent perspective, the kids kept pretty entertained with it, although they did say it is hard to pick up the toys. If your kids like challenges and don't get upset too easily, it will probably work out OK. One of the 6 year olds here gets too frustrated with it more quickly, and the other 6 year old keeps trying without frustration but, still mentions it is harder than it should be. She plays claw machines at the boardwalk arcades all summer long and is quite good at it, especially for her age, so for her to complain about a toy claw machine tells you something.

Reward claw machine? That's what ours is 🩵
When I seen this I had the best idea ever. Anytime my kids do something nice for someone else, they get a turn at the claw machine. They get to try for the bigger prizes, once a week if they had a good week. I love the fact that it's NOT battery operated so you don't have to worry about buying batteries all the time. Both my son & daughter struggled for a bit when starting off playing with this, but like all things- practice makes perfect. & they both got it down pact now 😆 One thing that none of us liked is that the drop off area isn't sectioned off; so if it's accidentally bumped, everything comes out of the prize area. So we decorated & taped cardboard around this, so prizes weren't won unfairly. The things that come with it are cheap, & can get for $1 at your local dollar tree. But you can fill with other things (we filled it with candy) & the balls with tiny pieces of paper with things written like "you don't have to do your chores tomorrow", "go to defy with parents", "1 get out of jail free" - if they're supposed to be grounded this allows a one time ungrounding ). This only works, if u section off the prize area like we did (which took 2 mins tops) or- its easily accessible. I'd say for the electronic operation it is, and the fact that you can refill with your own items- it is worth the price. We are not " everyone wins a trophy " people. We teach our kids the way the world will treat them when they're adults. So you dont win a bunch of prizes bcuz of a flaw in the machine 😂 I'd say it's 4 stars now because we did have to modify ours to make it like an actual claw machine. But it helps give the kids something to look forward to, & it keeps them constantly doing nice things for others around them. 🩵

Great for little ones to develop their motor skills and hand-eye coordination while having fun!
2023-10-11. Mini Claw Machine by beesome. Candy Grabber & Prize Dispenser. 10 Doll. 10 Capsules. Dual power modes. Peach. The last decade, claw machines have taken grown to be one of the most popular games of chance and skill. With outrageous prizes, people of all ages try their luck at getting that iPhone for just a couple of bucks. I saw this and though that it would be a great substitute for the little ones to get a prize every time (I was also secretly hoping that this would fulfill their yearning to play these low probability games when we do go out). The power source for the machine is two-fold. It can run on 4 AA batteries (not included) or by USB-Cord (provided). The machine works great and the claw is strong enough to easily grab something. There are a couple of notables I have. The first is that you can't fill it up with too much. 20 pieces in total are provided and the machine will not function well if you place all 20 prizes inside. 8-10 pieces work really well. The other notable is that batteries are NOT included nor is a charging block provided. The provided cable is USB-A to micro USB, so you will need to provide your own adapter as well if you want to use it via plugging into a 5V power source.Oh and in case you're wondering, this claw machine was a hit! The machine retails for $36, but currently (at the time of this posting), it's on sale for 40% OFF! ($21.59) making it a great price for picking up extras as gifts. The machine will help little ones develop spatial recognition and improve hand-eye coordination while having fun!
