When we got our first Autobin we were quite pleased with it's operation. However, time threw up a few problems. Battery life was not good & the battery housing arrangement was flimsy & poor. Eventually the auto operation failed & we just carried on using the bin without it - which isn't particularly easy! Then we found this replacement & so far nothing but good to report. The battery housing & requirement has been re-designed & is a big improvement. Also the operation seems more positive & less sensitive but this might just be my relief at having the Auto function working again. The battery life seems much better but time will tell. Replacement top certainly a more cost effective option than another bin.

Ordered this item but the wrong style of lid had been sent. The next day the wrong lid was collected and the new one was delivered.There were no issues at all and everything was dealt with quickly and professionally.The actual lid fits well and looks great.It saved me a lot of money having to buy another bin when i just needed the lid.It would be great if there was a sticker inside the bin reminding you of what size batteries you will need.Apart from that it was perfect.

We love this product and think it is the best type of bin on the market. There is no need for spills and dirty hands when using the hands free lid - Awesome. Only slight issue, it is not as robust as it could be and if you mis-handle it it can break easily.

Direct replacement for one that failed after about 5 years of hard use.Looks identical to original and works well.Delivered much quicker than original delivery promise.

I love our automatic bin which has worked well for the last five years so had no problem buying a replacement head when it stopped working. Hoping for another five yeas out of this one
