How did I manage without this!
What an absolutely fantastic product! My 18 year old son is in techno heaven!Very easy to set up and looks amazing.Very stable when iPad is sitting horizontally but is top heavy vertically. You have to hit the keys fairly hard but get used to that or else they become more flexible with use!My personal plus is the fact I can now sit this on my knee instead of constantly holding the iPad and straining my wrist.Love the way the key board becomes a casing cover when not in use and looks both stylish and affords excellent protection for the screen. Can be a bit difficult to open, I use a plastic cuticle shaper!!!! and I'm sure you will all come up with your own solutions.Honestly don't know how I managed without this keyboard and am still in shock at how INEXPENSIVE it is.Best purchase I've made in a very long time, worth every penny, plus a lot more pounds.I cannot praise this product enough, don't hesitate to buy!

Really good, with few niggles (good on ipad. Brilliant on mini)
I bought this item for my ipad 2 (although I have since sold the ipad 2, and now use it with the ipad mini. It's even better on the mini, will tell you why later). The keyboard feels very well made, especially considering the price. The keys are brilliant, actually feel like my full size keyboard! Lots of travel in the keys, and quite pleasant to type. BUT do keep in mind that this is the size of an ipad. So it's NOT a full size keyboard. Expect it to be bit cramped, and for it to take some getting used to. You really notice the size on the right hand side, where the enter, shift & arrow bottoms are very small, and you keep pressing one when you meant to hit another (until you get used to it). But it's only on this side, around these keys where I really notice that its small. So that's something to be aware of.The ipad 2 fits in landscape and portrait, but the keyboard is quite light, so it's not secure in portrait (the ipad can tip over really easily). But weight distribution is quite good in landscape. The ipad also locks into place, screen down, so the key oars doubles as a case. This feature is really good, although can be bit fiddle removing it again. This annoyed me, so ended up not using it.Now where it really shines for me: using with ipad mini. The brilliant thing is that with the mini, it fits in WITH a Smart Cover and back cover - so you don't have to remove them to use the keyboard. Just slot it in. It only fits in landscape. The little grooves that hold it in place are too far apart for the ipad mini in portrait (they are just right for landscape).I really like this keyboard and would it again. For me, it's even better on the mini than on regular ipad. But I'd still buy it again for reguLar ipad.

Value for Money. Outstanding, no connection issues.
I was considering buying a keyboard for my iPad, whilst I love the tablet form for general internet browsing and catcing up, I also use a lot for emails whilst travelling by train. Looked at the expensive versions and decided to try this as a test case, was less than $20(pounds, one downside no pound sign). No longer intending to buy the expensive version. This works great for my 2 hours train journey, maybe when time to replace I would upgrade, but value for money its outstanding. Makes a huge difference to the useability for high volume email. Had it a month now and yet to recharge the battery, so that lasts a long time too.Downsides: No pound sign, keys do stick sometimes but not major, the iPad is quite heavy in the base so feels quite unstable if left alone I always take out of keyboard stand if Im moving away and the lip can be a little annoying on the palms. Not sure how many of these would be different on the more expensive versions. But none of these are major compared to paying 4/5 time the cost. Hope this helps.

Great VFM, good keyboard, but hard to open when using it as a cover!
Great value for money and the keyboard works well. It feels a bit flimsy and cheap, but is useable and the keys work well. It was easy to set up. My biggest issue with it is that it is very hard to remove the keyboard when using it as a cover for your device. It is not smart or elegant. I cannot complain too much for the price paid, but it does not give a professional feel to using this with your ipad.

Absolutely marvellous!
I don't normally write reviews but this was so deserving of it.A brilliant piece of kit, it looks just like the back of the ipad and weighs next to nothing, when slotted over the ipad it provides slimline but decent protection...it feels 'safer' for being metal than leather or rubber covers.Really easy to set up, amazing charge (55hrs from one charge).Keyboard was fine, I noticed on other reviews that people were concerned about the responsiveness of the keys and the speed that the letters appear on screen. I consider myself to be a very fast typer, and I'd say it's a letter slower than my normal laptop, hardly noticable at all, infact if I hadn't read that other review I don't think I'd have picked up on it, probably because I type pretty quick I often don't look at the text (or the keyboard) I'm daydreaming up what to say.Haven't noticed the keys being unresponsive at all, they are absolutely fine.Such a bargin, and a great product. Really really pleased with it.Thank you!
