This is the answer to 'stress free' dog walking!!!
This lead has been fabulous so far.I have the 33ft long, orange one.I've used it about five times and I've been very impressed. It has never got tangled up (unlike previous canvas leads I've used, that I gave up on!).Even in heavily wooded areas... no tangling whatsoever! This is the answer to stress free dog walking. The day-glow-orange colour allows me to easily see the lead, even in thick mud. So I can quickly catch a dog, who is intent on running off.... De-escalating a potentially stressful situation and long, frustrating periods of time searching for a dog.At the end of the walk, the rubbery material instantly becomes spotlessly clean if thrown in to a river, or put in the sink.Fabulous.More day glow colour options, would be great please...I will be ordering more.

I’m a dog walker and this is my choice of line
I’m a dog walker and have a Cockapoo in my group. Typical with this “breed” is the jitters and the fact he will bolt at the strangest things. After spending 4 hours looking for him one day I was cursing myself at letting him off lead and vowed to buy a training line. That afternoon (after he finally handed himself in to a nearby golf club!) I found this on Amazon. Best line ever. Highly visible through the ferns and undergrowth. Waterproof and not weighed down by water. Can’t knot unlike the fabric ones. Can’t rust because there’s no Drings on it. Lightweight so the small dog isn’t aware of it.At the end of the walk I just throw it in a carrier bag till I see him next week and I don’t bother cleaning it because he’ll be back in the river immediately again.Very happy purchase.

So far so good, perfect for recall training
We have a rescue and he's got hound in him, his recall has up to now been intermittent - sniffs, other dogs, other people, birds, squirrels and pretty much everything else is more interesting than us! Not really trusting him off lead unless in a secure field means frustrating walks for him at times. His rescuers recommended a biothane lead and after lots of deliberation I got this one. It has been really good so far with recall training, it gives me a lot more confidence and is giving him the awareness of how much 'allowance' he has in front (at least I think it is!). Wouldn't ever use it as a road or urban walking lead but it's been brilliant in open spaces. The only thing I have to be careful of is not treading on it!

Great for off lead training
Great for training, my puppy feels free to run around on walks and I’m able to jump on the line if she looks like she’s about to get herself in to trouble, dropped a star rating because she did manage to chew through the end but luckily it was the end of the line so it’s just been shortened a bit.

Good choice
Good lead for both walking and training purposes. Can be used with or without gloves in inclement weather. Does not get soaked in the way a material or leather lead does.

Connector to collar comes away from lead after time (circa 6-12 months)
We have had to have multiple replacements; due to the metal connector that connects the lead to the D ring on the dogs collar coming away from the metal fitment that is connected to the bio-thane lead. This usually occurs after 6-12 months use. This is such a shame, because part from this (which is very important on dog safety grounds) the lead is what we want

This version has no handle, but lead looks like fantastic quality!
Looks absolutely hard wearing and perfect, but I didn't clearly see from the listing that the non-clip end is NOT a flat handle, it's just the flat unfinished end rounded off. Returning and reordering a different version!

Not as advertised
This will be returned as I wanted the same lead as I ordered before. I clicked 'buy again' and the image was of the first lead I purchased. This one is thinner than advertised and has a different clasp.
