This is a Branson OEM ultrasonic stepped micro tip. The probe attaches directly to the converter and is ideal for reaching into long, thin tubes. Tip diameter 1/8''. This is an ultrasonic microtip for Sonifier® 250 and 450. Long microtips act as mechanical transformers to increase vibration amplitude. At specified resonant frequency, ultrasonic probes expand and contract longitudinally around the center. However, no longitudinal motion occurs at the threaded nodal point.
