This is an excellent product. It is non stick, flat about 12 inch size which is good for a homemade dosa. I have been using it almost everyday since I purchased it and it is working very well. The only thing I cannot say for sure is its durability of the non stick characteristics. Hopefully it will last a reasonable period.

It is perfect to make dose/puda. The handle does not get hot. It is light. No more nonstick pans which usually get bad after using for a while. I was unable to find tawa in local stores. Just love it. I bought ionized flat tawa as well. It is really good to make chappatti. Very happy with the purchase. Thanks Amazon for selling indian utensils.

This is a very nice pan. It is nonstick and easy to use. It warms up quickly and food doesn’t burn on it.

Loved it at first—perfect for dosa, uttapam, paratha, even chickpea chili. Heats evenly, ideal size, and easy to clean… initially. Pros: Makes crisp, even dosas/uttapams Handy 30 cm size for daily use Non-stick works well out of the box Simple cleanup with warm water/soap (at first) Cons: The coating started peeling after ~3 months Grease buildup on the sides that won’t wash off gently Disappointing longevity for $30+ Bottom line: Awesome performance early on, but the coating didn’t last. Recommend only if you’re okay with short-term use.

This has been the best quality tawa by far. Works on glass cook top and do mot warp so easily. I had the exact same one before and worked for 3 years. Update: so its been less than a year since I ordered this one and its started peeling already. I have not used any metal on it so i think they have decreased quality.

We first got this griddle in 2015. And now after almost 4 years we are ordering a second one. We used it solely for preparing dosa (indian salty crepes) and made sure to hand wash it always and NEVER cook in it with old oil still sticking on it. The nonstick started to go bad around 8 or so months back around the edges, but its still usable. The center is still quite good, but the sides have worn out and so we aren’t able to make big dosa. The griddle served very well for us. A tad on heavy side, but did a fantastic job. The main thing is to make sure always hand wash it and never to reheat it with old oil sticking on it. We took special care to wash the edges while handwashing it. So cleaning it after dosa preparation isnt easy, but in my experience so is no other tava.

Pros: Nice finish, Thick gauge, hard anodized - really non stick Cons: none - but a little heavy to handle. I ordered the Amazon warehouse deal, which was pretty discounted than the Full price. the quality was really good and had no damage. It is a good value for me
