Gentle on acne-prone, dry skin. Follow it with a normal facial cleanser. My skin doesn’t feel as good if I don’t wear makeup and therefore cleanse without it.

Get a makeup remover to take off your waterproof eye makeup, this is a skin CLEANSER.It’s also not just a pre-cleanse, it’s a stand alone cleanser that doesn’t require a second cleanse. You CAN use it that way but that’s not all it is. It’s weird that this listing says “follow with your preferred second cleanser”because that doesn’t appear on the packaging or anywhere else. It actually says everywhere else that this is your cleansing step, follow with toner, including on the -recyclable- packaging that’s big enough to read. It’s only wasteful packaging if you’re not recycling itThis is a beautiful nourishing cleanser for all skin types and does not contain glycerin.

Favorite balm cleanser! I use it after wearing sunscreen or after wearing makeup and it does a great job at removing everything thoroughly without irritating my skin or eyes. I will even use it on it's own to cleanse my skin if I am not using a cleanser with active ingredients in it. My skin feels so soft and clean after using, definitely a holy grail!

Bought this for my granddaughter that uses all their products. She loved it and said she would buy it again. Makes your face feel smooth and clean.

This product feels thick like lard and smells a bit off like it’s rancid. I used it twice and then threw it in the trash.

You might be wondering why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 since it does the difficult job of getting stubborn mineral sunscreen off. And that's only because it took 2-3x the recommended amount on the bottle to get it off. However, this is still the first product that i've been able to find that gets it all off. I am happy with the product. But it loses a star, because it requires much more product to be used. And therefore I will be going through this a lot quicker because of that. Having said that the price isn't crazy so i dont mind that too much. It makes my skin feel nice after use. I added this before my regular routine of the Mad Hippie cleansing milk and followed by the Mad Hippie triple c night cream and I'm face feels better than it's has in a very long time! Its a nice addition to my skincare lineup. I can totally see myself buying this product again as well as maybe exploring some of their products in the future!

I am so in love with this stuff! I was using an Elemis cleansing balm but it would leave my vision blurry afterwards and it wouldn't always get my mascara off.I used a pea size amount and it removed a full face of makeup along with my eyelash glue! It smells amazing and it's not a nasty oily texture when you wash it off! My skin is very soft and supple! I definitely recommend!

The product was rancid and smelled nasty. It didn’t spread very well on my face either. I quickly washed it off because I have sensitive skin and the rancid smell worried me. Expiration date says 2027 but the smell says otherwise.
