Great tool
I've been plumbing for 27 years. I have way more tools than I need, especially this type of pliers. I have all the sizes of the Speedgrips. These grip great, are easy to adjust the size, and the grips are comfortable. They feel durable. Depending on the specific use they could be a little chunky but I think every tool has trade offs. These and my Knipex are my go to options.

A Channellock melhorou o que já era bom.
Extremamente eficiente, se você souber usar. Nota 10.

Better than Knipex?
I have Knipex and the Channellock Grip locks. As well has the crosshatch push button design. This thing feels tanky. It has a very stout grip and thick handles. The comfort grip is great. Depending on what you are doing with the pliers these might be better or worse. It has a wider grip than knipex, but might not fit in as tight of spaces. The teeth are designed to lock in one direction but will still grip well in the opposite direction far better than the knipex. The only added benefit is the top of the jaws on the channellock is good for smoothing out and removing burrs in piping. Also the 442x is still cheaper than the cobra 250s and is USA made.

Awesome Pliers for Rough Work
Overall these are a great option for v-jaw pliers. Using these for general construction and property maintenance, I ended up keeping these over the Knipex Cobras. These Channellocks are a much more robust (heavier, wider jaw/clamping surface, bigger grips, etc). If I were carrying tools all day, I probably would've kept the Knipex version to save on weight/space. That said, when I use this type of plier I'm usually doing rough/demo work on stuck and rusted parts, so I wanted the version that could offer the most strength/leverage. When I'm concerned about marring a surface, I use the adjustable CL (CodeBlue version) or Knipex Pliers Wrench. My only critiques of these are that the fit and finish is pretty bad and the push button requires a bit of force to engage. Out of the package there are several 'chipped' and 'brushed/scratched' parts of the metal. I plan on beating these up so the initial blemishes aren't a major concern. Eventually I hope they offer a 8" version.

The jaws grips round items great but longer jaws would be nicer.
These grip round items great. Will one jaw shape do it all? Maybe and maybe not. Will these toothy jaws replace my smooth jaws pliers wrench or smooth jaws parrot nose pliers or adjustable wrench set ? Note: I wear mens XL gloves. Fully closed jaws the handles are a handful to grip. The handles do get closer together as the jaws are separated. The handle grip feels very comfortable but is a little smooth. I wear Milwaukee Nitrile work gloves for a super grip. The jaws grips round items great but longer jaws would be nicer. Play with the pliers jaw and try several item diameters to see and feel the maximum tooth contact. My opinion only. The jaws have a sweet spot diameter gripping range for maximum tooth contact.
