Safer than using a conventional hot water bottle. Heats up. quickly and lasts a good few hours. Owing to illness which causes cold hands and feet I use it constantly. I have ordered three of them now. One has worn out which is not surprising given that it was constantly used. Using second one now. Pleased that I bought them. Would recommend them.

Heats up quickly and holds heat for many hours. My mother uses it to put on her arthritic shoulder and the heat helps with the pain.

Whatever you do, don't buy this product . I bought two, one for my mother and another for an elderly friend . The first one wouldn't really hear and then the attachment to connect to the mains lead went up in a puff of smoke terrifying the elderly lady . The second worked ok initially and then refuses to heat up st all. Such a waste of money and effort . The retailer far from being understanding just said they would review once they received them back. No offer of refunded post . Now I have read other reviews I should not have bought them in the first place . You have been warned . Really poor quality product and packaging

For my 96 year old aunt. Carers love it and much safer for her than the very hot hot-water bottles that she likes. So far, an excellent product and extremely useful and safe for elderly people.
