I have used these several times now on cooling system hoses and transmission lines. No issues and they clamp hard enough to stop all fluid flow. Definitely will recommend

They work great does not damage fuel line

If you just need to pinch some hoses occasionally, these work fine. My vehicle is older so the hoses are a little more stiff than newer cars. When I pinched off a hose, the flexed a bit, so it took more force to get them to fully pinch off. They work and I dont feel like they will break, but for the price they are fine.

It works as advertised!

Plastic flexes too much. Won't apply enough pressure to a brake hose to crimp it enough to stop the flow of the brake fluid. Back it goes.

For years I have used vice grips or needle nose pliers to pinch off a fuel or water line to keep the liquid from leaking out all over me and my shop floor and I found these pinch off pliers and I started using them because I got tired of trying to find my vice grips to do the job that this set pinch off pliers are designed to do!It takes up a small space in my tool box but I can locate these tools quicker than I can locate anything else to do the same job these tools are designed to do! Can’t go wrong on having a set of these pliers in your workshop and these don’t seem to damage the rubber hoses like vice grips do when you use them to pinch off hoses instead of having a very Nice set of pinch off pliers like these in your toolbox!
