From my initial use, this product works pretty well. Without reading the instructions, I was able to assemble everything pretty quickly. There are instructions, but seem pretty verbose. I think an instructional video would help. The package consists of 2 major pieces: the main display that has 2 cameras on either side to record the front of the car and driver/ passengers as well as a mountable rear camera to record the back of the car. The resolution of the rear mountable camera is not as good as the front, but serves its purpose. The unit itself is light but not cheap. The 1080p screen is pretty clear even during night time driving, and the Picture-in-Picture screen on the top right allows you to toggle between the driver/passengers (probably best for Uber drivers or ability to watch your kids) or the rear camera (once you mount the rear camera). The suction cup mount is pretty strong. Once it's installed, it turns on automatically once the car is turned on via the cigarette lighter adapter. Video recording is available via micro SD card (Class 10 or better).General comments on dash cameras: Between the power wire to the cigarette lighter and the wire extending the rear view camera, the addition wiring adds clutter to your dashboard and your car in general. I already have a cell phone mount and need to find a way to reduce the wire clutter. Not the product's fault, but just the consequence of using dash cams.For the question of who should buy this, dash cams should be for people that drive regularly, have a history of car accidents, or just like video taping themselves. But it's affordable enough for anyone to try before you buy.

I'm not a big fan of writing reviews, but I had to for this one. The camera froze twice in less than 12 hours. The second time was worse than the first. Even after unplugging the camera from power and pushing down the power button, the camera still wouldn't turn off. My husband had to hold the power button down for at least 5 minutes for the camera to shut down. We only had the camera for about a week and a half. My husband also tried turning it off while it was plugged and that didn't work either. The TF (SD) card was class 10 and 32 GB. I think the product sent to us was defective. We've order cameras from Amazon before, but this was the first time we've had an issue like that.

Great product with no regrets buying two orders of this dash cam. However, the backup/side cam is not Night Vision and has bright LEDs which must be removed (or at least dewired) if planning to use it as a continuous side cam. the windshield mount bracket would not snap locked on either of the two orders of mine forcing me to permanently bond them together which in my case no big deal. The video quality is absolutely fabulous and so is the simplicity of auto recording with no worries. Mine have been installed for two weeks now in and around my Semi-Truck and only today have I needed to view anything which was very simple to do shockingly especially since I had to go back a few hours of footage.As a Trucker driving in the worst conditions on the same roads as the worst of drivers I know with extreme certainty how important these Dash Cams are today, Therefore....I highly recommend this DASH CAM set!!!!!!! I'd give it 4.7 Stars if I could. But 4 Stars since 5 stars would be Flawless and that just doesn't exist in reality.

The product was scratched already. None of the sub menus work on the camera itself. Our Mac and PC cannot recognize the file type, so not sure how to view the footage at all. Otherwise, it was relatively easy to run the wire across the top windshield, and install the camera. Picture quality does look very sharp on the monitor, but again can't verify recorded footage quality since we can't open the files. They need to hire an actual English speaker to translate the instructions properly!

I bought this product less than a year ago. Now while driving camera stays off even though power cord is properly plugged in to cigarette outlet . I tried many times connecting ,re starting but it don' stay on and while driving it shuts off and turn on . I am so frustrated that it gone bad with in a year. I want replacement.

very cheaper materiel , it worked good for one month , after it turn off forever , guys don t lose your money on this scam
