At first, I thought that these were going to be too small to be effective. I also thought that the light source was not strong enough and that it probably wasn't going to attract any insects. However, it proved me wrong! I used these as a night light for quite some time and didn't really check on them. When I did, I was horrified and disgusted. They were full of little gnats! In fact, they were so full that they were overflowing onto the floor. I know, TMI. I think they actually work better than those expensive "sticky paper with blacklight" contraptions. It just goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover.

This thing did absolutely nothing. My wife thinks it actually attracted more gnats or no-seeums or whatever the annoying little buggers are that fly around you and you just can't seem to swat and kill. On the upside, it makes a somewhat attractive night light but do not buy it if you want something to address pesky gnats or mosquitoes in your house

Product worked well and killed many indoor flying insects (drain/fruit flies) until I tried to clean it. It appears that removing the screws to fully clean the metal grates will instantly break the product and cause the wires connecting the electricity to the grill to break connection irreversibly. Buying a second set… will see how these last if I only clean the grills without removing them.

These traps worked well with fruit flies. They did not work with average flies; the grate is too small for a regular fly to fly through. When I removed one of the traps from the wall, the metal prong broke off and was stuck in the outlet.

The picture looks big, but it's small about the size of cigarette pack, and it doesn't work for me. It can only catch the tiny bugs, but not mosquitos.

I have an office in the basement. Occasionally I go in & out the back door and as quick as I am, mosquitos get in. Not many, but just one bite really gets on my nerves. So I bought this one (x2) to solve the problem. Well, I've still been bitten a few times since I installed them. So today out of frustration, I decided I'd write a BAD review to "get even" (since I rarely return anything .. a hassle). Like I've done about once a week since installing, I went over and looked (again) to see any zapped bugs. None. But this time I unplugged it and looked inside. Yup, it looked like the remains of 6-12 mosquitos. Since I've only killed about that many myself, I'm giving it praise that a dozen blood-suckers never got me! Why? Well, I'm a mosquito magnet for some reason. Many times when I'm outdoors, I'm the only one getting bit. So if those units are more attractive than my blood, they work!!

It's a pretty blue light that does absolutely nothing but provide a nice night light. I got the 2 for 1 packet. Installed two units and checked the trap weekly for a month, not one insect killed in that time - TOTALLY EMPTY!!!Of course, I forgot the return date so I have to eat that 50 bucks. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTHLESS!!!

These came 2 to a box.When I ordered these I didn't think they would do much..... but guess what. They work and work well.I didn't think I had that many fruit flies, but this morning I cleaned 7 of them out and then went on some errands. When I came back there were like 3 or 4 more. You can see them in the picture. I should of gotten a picture of the 7 but didn't think about it until I had them all cleaned out.I use a soft old toothbrush to clean them away.The front piece comes off easily, I just brush the dead flies away and the piece goes back on just as easily.I am planning on ordering another pair for my upstairs.
