Easy mounting. A few different sets of screws in the box. Adjustable brightness is a great option over something that would auto adjust. The battery is side accessible which improves the functionality of the item. No need to re zero after changing the battery time will tell if it can hold zero, but so far no complaints.

This thing I waited to review by testing so everyone would get an honest review, Put one on my P365 Legion first with 1k rounds through it no issues. Put 1,000 rounds through my Vulcan Werks Staccato now. Removed my Trijicon for this. Green, much easier to see. This also looks better style wise and design. Trijicon is plain. They know people will keep buying though (kind of like a phone company with a fruit logo) as long as people are still buying they’ll never change anything. Back to sight…. 100% on target, even after 1,000 rounds later. Not even loose. Battery and motion great and function as they should. Realized Trijicon, Holoson, etc. are just like anything else, paying for the name. I do however like Vortex. Their customer service was great. No questions asked, sent my replacement before making me send my reflex sight first, unlike Trijicon who wouldn’t do anything until I sent them the sight (leaving me without, and not caring), when they are the most expensive and biggest players in the game. Rep I spoke to was rude too. I can honestly say this functions better than my Trijicon. Holds zero better. Do not have to remove to get battery out, and I could buy one for each weapon for as much as one Trijicon.

This is my second optic from this company. I bought my first one for my shotgun and was impressed with the quality, so I decided to buy this model for my pistol. I have not shot my guns with these optics so I can't give an opinion on durability yet. I'm rating these for construction, features, and price.This is my first green dot and I wanted to try it out. This really boils down to preference. I think it stands out more. The brightness setting is great, but you will get a little bit of a halo effect on the brightest setting. The construction feels solid and well-made. The adjusting screws have noticeable clicks which is good to help prevent the dialing in from changing. The buttons to adjust brightness feel firm. I'm not sure if that's by design, but regardless, it's firm. The price is great! I can't complain at all. Only time will tell if Votatu is durable and reliable.Now for my complaint. Although this is my second unit from this company, the one I received was opened (seal broken), but everything seemed intact. I only knew someone had it before me because there was a fingerprint on the optic itself. I wasn't happy about the situation, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of a return. I tested everything and it was good to go.Note: For those that wear eye contacts, the dot may appear distorted. I thought mine was defective since I wear contacts and the dot was distorted. I read articles to try the camera test and see if the dot changed and it did. The dot was perfect, so my contacts did not adjust to stigmatism. To verify that, I tried my glasses and it corrected the problem, so this means my contacts did not adjust to stigmatism.UPDATE: After viewing some other optics, I have determined this was defective. I did work with their customer support outside of Amazon and explained the issue. They were super awesome and sent me out a replacement which fixed the issue. Go Votatu!!!After having some time with optic, this optic is very solid. You get a lot of bang for your buck. If you need an optic that isn't going to break the bank, this is a decent-performing optic. I've used it at the gun range and I was shooting better than using iron sights.
