Great bread book.
My hobby is baking and I love to bake bread. I have five ovens at home plus a portable one that runs on propane I use when camping. Recipe accuracy is key in baking and this book in the Williams-Sonoma Collection does not disappoint. Basically, if you follow the recipes in this book, you should see good results. I have many books on bread baking and I find this book is one of the handful I revisit throughout the year. try the popovers, worth the price of the book
i really liked this book. i have many bread books but this one has different suggestions that I have not heard of before with great results. Starting the popovers in a cold oven really made amazing popovers . cant wait to try the next one.

Nice series especially if purchased at discount.
I bought a bunch of these here on Amazon for a few dollars each for my daughters who expressed interest in learning how to entertain and cook for themselves and company, most of the books in the series are great for just this purpose, being a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income I really wouldn’t want to pay the full retail price and judging by the sheer abundance of used copies for next to nothing I am not the only one who didn’t.TLDR great when bought used recommended at a used price.

Excellent book!
My recent purchase of this book was for my niece. I have mine for about 5 year. Excellent book! There are recipes for all special occasions and for any Season. Easy to understand and enable you to add or substitute any of the aromatics and spices. Highly recommend even to the most novice baker!

Bread
I recently purchased a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, something I've wanted for so long due to my love of cooking. What better way to become familiar with my new kitchen work-horse than to try making bread. The recipies in this "Williams-Sonoma Collection: Bread," does not disappoint. From foccacia to brioche, to sumptious nut breads and all in between, one could spend a full year or more working through the recipies in this beautifully illustrated book. For those who love the smell of fresh bread baking in the oven, this book is for you.

nice book as books go, however, not the best info I wanted.

Yeast breads aren't easy but keep trying. Cooking and baking is supposed to be fun
I love the variety of breads. Some are yeast breads and some are quick breads, like Irish soda, banana nut, muffins and even dessert breads. They even have international breads. And at the end of the book are bread basics.

A great cookbook
Williams-Sonoma makes great baking books. I have had the Muffin Baking Book and when I saw this, I thought"Yes!" I bought a used one but it is great too.

Great book for any home bakers. I love making breads and this book was easy to follow, easy ingredients to find and tasty results.

どれも美味しくできました
この著者の日本語版の本の中からいくつか試したところどれも美味しかったので、著者名で検索して新しく購入しました。ソノマのレシピ本はアメリカ本には珍しく写真が必ずついているのもポイントが高かった点です。アメリカとは材料の違いが大きいのでたいていのレシピは材料を調整しないとうまく出来ませんが、この著者のレシピに限ってはどれもこのままで美味しくできます。日持ちもするし劣化もしにくいようです。パネトーネなどのリッチ系のパンも油脂分控えめなので作りやすかったです。次はどれを試そうか、写真を見ながらわくわくしています♪
