The long-term hold feature works like a charm. To explain, a quick example is best. Say you like peanut butter sandwiches but you are on a diet. You would like to know how many calories the sandwich contains. Of course, that depends on how much peanut butter you used. So, you put the jar on the scale, then press zero and press hold. It will hold this value for hours. When you are done making the sandwiches, I always go back for seconds and sometimes thirds, just place the jar back on the scale and it will tell you to the gram how much peanut butter you just ate. You could do this with a regular gram scale but then you have to write the weights down and subtract the difference. Using a scale with a hold function makes it just that much easier.

Does exactly what you need easy to zero out, easy to clean and I love that it is rechargeable and not going through batteries. Zero issues. Honestly if I had to pick one thing I would change it is the myriad of functionality and options that may prove difficult for someone not technical or looking for a simpler scale but the base functionality is great it may just be confusing or overwhelming for some but instructions are very clear and the buttons are intuitive.

Found already there are impact scratch marks on the stainless steel surface.Display Screen numbers cannot be read clearly on some angles to views, read angle is not Wide.

Great scale for weighing stuff in the kitchen. I love that it has all the different weighing options

Works great. Seems accurate. I've compared measurements with tenths of grams with my other scales and it measures up.

Not repeatability accurate. Trickle some flour on ot and get a reading. Take it off and trickle it back on and get a completely different reading. You can do it over and over and get something different.

I have gone through 2 other kitchen scales here on Amazon that did not work out for me (one was too small to place larger items on and one's display kept bugging out despite me changing the batteries constantly). I came across this one and had to try it.. and I LOVE IT!Here are the reasons why I will use this one from now on: - Was well packaged and protected. Comes with a plastic plate that was used as protection, but you can also use it as a weighing plate. - It is rechargeable!!! Not only do I no longer have to purchase batteries, but I can easily recharge it whenever I need to. Comes with a little wire, but no adapter. There is a slot on the back for 2 x AAA batteries if you prefer that option instead. - The large LED screen is very legible and bright enough for me to glance at while I turn away to grab other ingredients to measure out. - Very easy to use. I didn't even need to look at the instruction manual to figure out what button was for what. - It's ergnomic and has a nice construction/build. Has these grooves(?) on the bottom of the machine for you to rest your fingertips on. Also has rubber feet on the bottom to prevent it from sliding all over your counter while you use it. (See photos attached) - Nice and large, but not clunky! It's got a big weighing area, but the machine itself is slim. I can tuck it away in my small cabinet without it taking up much space. I was also able to rest my largest glass mixing bowl on it and was still able to see the screen easily. - Very easy to clean. The first day I used it, my toddler knocked over a whole jar of flour onto it, and it was very easy to wipe down.TLDR - For a beginner baker like myself, this little machine makes it so easy for me to measure out ingredients with all the unit measurements available within just a few presses of a button. I enjoy baking so much more now, and even my toddler thinks it's got the coolest number display ever.P.S. - The transparent and blue films can be removed from the scale and display. I was just so excited to use it that I didn't remove the films until after I made my first round of cookies. Lol
