Works as expected
Working as expected. Good value for the money and as far as I can tell, good quality. I bought these to replace the thermostat in a Keurig unit that tripped after trying to run a cleaning cycle. I was able to reset it once, but it's a pain to take the unit apart for that, so I "upgraded". So far, the machine has worked flawlessly. It is not necessarily an easy job, but then, this is not a task for the average homeowner. The temp is slightly different than the OEM part, but not enough to cause any functionality issues. If you know how to solder and are somewhat handy, these will revive your Keurig!

Thermal Switch replacement
I ordered this unit to replace a part on a space heater. Since I got 12, I took one apart to check the quality, looks better than the original, this one uses a ceramic case, the temperature was right on at 265F, for my application I had to drill out the holes larger to mount it the original way, very easy. Good part, very inexpensive. I did not fully test the amps, but it was drawing 12A and seemed fine.

Better than the OEM!
Saved my microwave from the trash heap!A horrible, acrid burning odor filled the house & nauseated me when the original thermal cutoff burned. Upon disassembly, I spotted the burned culprit. The original had a bakelite body which when burned emits a toxic cloud! The replacement fit perfectly and has a ceramic body, which will not burn! Better than the original from GE. New wire pigtails and spade connectors and back in business! I don't recommend that the average DIY'er attempt this due to the potential for shock or electrocution, but someone with knowledge and skill can certainly repair his/her appliance and keep it out of the waste stream! (I was in the appliance repair trade for many years)
