Great winder, one potential issue
This replaces an old winder from the same manufacturer. Still worked after 5 years or so, but was getting very noisy, so I replaced it. Very pleasantly surprised with the improved quality of this new winder. Looks more refined (both exterior and interior), and there is almost no sound when it rotates. Pillows good size and hold all my watches securely, without wobbling. However, one of my watches (Tag Hauer with leather strap) slightly scratches the glass when rotating; the other 5 watches come very close to touching the glass too, but are OK. So the winder should work for most watches, but some larger watches may have this problem. Would be nice for the manufacturer to allow 1/2" or so extra space in height. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase so far.

Almost perfect
This winder is awesome...with one exception which I will detail below. The things I like:1. I love that it is quiet...almost silent. You really have to strain to hear the motors.2. Very nice workmanship in both the external and interior fit and finish3. Displays plenty of watchesSome things I am not as excited about:1. I have noticed that if the winders are rotating clockwise the inserts within them will become lose as they are attached by slotted plastic parts.2. I wish that all the pillows had the larger size attachment. Some are smaller and some are smaller but with an attachment to make them larger. The thing that almost makes this a deal breaker for me:1. This winder does not have adjustable TPD. There are 4 different programs but if you do the math they all have about the same TPD. Just 2 of them stay on and off longer than the other settings.I have two Seiko's that this is just not enough to keep them wound. The 5 sport and the Recraft neither of which are super efficient movements at motion winding and do not have a manual wind.It works fine with my other automatics however. Perfectly even.I think if this issue was addressed it would get a glowing 5 star review from me.I can recommend the winder with the caveat that if you have entry level watches from Seiko using the 72S26 caliber skip this box as it will not keep them ready to go.

Good for some watches, but not for all
This is a good looking watch winder. The wood is well finished. The two watch slots on each of the rotors are spaced far enough apart that even my largest watches don't bump each other. In most respects, I'm quite pleased. There's just one drawback. The rotation cycle is 12 hours on, then 12 hours off. There are variations, but every last one has 12 hours off. The first time I left for the weekend, I came back to a stopped watch on the winder. Would it have happened if the watch had been more fully would to begin with? I don't know, but I know it never happened on the old cheaper winder that doesn't have 12 hours off. Now, I only have one watch that doesn't like this winder. All my Seiko/NH3x movement watches seem to do fine on this winder, for example. So in most respects, this is nice, but for some watches, it doesn't do the one thing a winder is supposed to do.

Buy this!
I bought this as a gift for my husband. He had a great watch collection, but he didn't have a way to maintain the time/ movement off his automatic watches. It is quiet and it has worked great. After 6 months, we haven't had any issues.

Nice way to store your collection while keeping some automatic watches rwsdy to wear
Appears to be well made; although the first unit had damaged winder cups (broken plastic retention clips). The second unit arrived without damage, but the cups where loose and needed to be tightened. Pinch and twist the inserts while holding the outside of the winding cup to remove the insert which reveals a small phillips head screw that can be tightened.Overall very happy with the look of the unit and the manner it displays my collection of automatics. The additional storage is also nice for quartz watches and extra straps.
