BellroyTokyo Wonder Tote (15L laptop tote bag, fits 16" laptop)

Love this bag. I first purchased the smaller 12L bag, but it wasn't quite big enough. Some of my file folders made it hard to close the smaller size. I like the organization of this bag. Quick acess to things I need in the front like wallet, keys, and small note pad. Safe place for my tablet inside. Water bottle holders inside are nice an still room inside for a light sweater. I have had it for about a year now and it has held up well. The only thing that would make this better is the addition of some small feet on the bottom to help it stand up.

10/10 it’s so hard to find a functional work bag that looks good. I travel a lot for work and this is just perfect for traveling or just for everyday on the go. It’s so sturdy and there is so much room for everything but it doesn’t feel heavy even when I have my lap top and water bottle, etc. in there. All of the pockets make it so easy to stay organized. This bag is truly a dream.

I was trying to decide between this tote, a Thule Subterra 2, Adidas totes, a Lululemon everyday tote, an Athleta tote (too cheap with big logos on straps), North Face Borealis or Camp Voyager, Patagonia (what I really wanted but they phased out all their totes), LL Bean canvas with zipper/monogram, Dagne Dover, and Porsche Design (too masculine, no feminine totes). It's been challenging finding this bag!!What I am looking: ALL black, little to no external logos, with stiff padded nylon handles that don't slide off my puffer jacket coat, 1 or more inner zipper pockets, TWO OUTER water bottle pockets (bc my coffee thermos AND water bottles sometimes leak and I can't damage my macbook or paperwork), waterproof exterior, preferably really nice thick zipper and pull; easily wipeable, ripproof, a laptop sleeve, key chain hook, and zipper top. I travel and also like having luggage straps and like a carryon size. I was looking for higher quality materials, no cheap knockoff no name brands. The closest thing I found to this was a very old Patagonia tote bag until my dog chewed through the very nice handles overnight.I am willing to pay between $50-$250 for this tote bag. I wear upscale dress business casual (so very minimalist, discreet logos and no lazy duffel bags or thin unstructured shopping totes). I didn't know that it would be this hard to find a black tote bag with these specifications. I purchased 6 bags simultaneously and out of all of them, I think this bag is near perfect but I wish it came in a 21-25L size as the 15L is too small for my entire days worth of work items, makeup bag, and lunch.

I originally ordered the 12L size, but quickly realized that was no way large enough for me. The 15L is perfect. It's not a bag that can bring everything but the kitchen sink, but it is great for essentials. I use it daily as a work bag, and regularly bring a 13in laptop, water bottle, coffee cup, personal items, a book, documents, lunch box. I love that there are two beverage compartments. This bag also doubles as a mama bag and I can stash snacks, change of clothes and a small diaper kit if need be. Not ideal for carting around lots of heavy books, but no shoulder bag is--if that's my need, I do a backpack.The number of pockets and open interior is a good balance between organization and flexibility.I've had this bag for over a year now, and it looks pretty much good as new.

This is a really high-quality bag, and it’s way more roomy than expected. It should have a long lifespan too!

Great size, great look, fits everything I take to work via the train.

Really loving this tote, it looks fantastic and the material seems premium. I enjoy thoughtful touches such as the rubberized underside of the straps. The organization is wonderful compared to most totes. I use this as a work bag but sometimes it doubles as a compact diaper bag and it works well for that purpose too!

Love the pockets which are configurable (two side pockets) and spacious. Handle depth is fantastic for a man’s use. Love the quality and ease of use.
