Good balanced bat
I bought this in a 32 drop 5 for my 12 year old son because I was tired of buying 2 piece bats that all get a loose connection. This bat has gone thru 1 spring season and, as expected, remained durable. It has decent pop, or at least my son thinks it does. All USA bats are pretty dead compared to their USSSA counterparts so it is what it is. My only complaint is that it is LOUD. I don't like the ping of an alloy bat and this one is as loud as they come. I'm not taking off a star for this as most people probably don't care about that. Some may actually like it.

2024 USA MARRUCCI CAT X
I bought 2 of my sons the cat x. My 12 year old I got him the 31in -8 and my 6 year old 26in -11. Both of them love the bat , they love the feel of the grip, the sound of the bat when hitting the ball and stoked on the distance they hit the ball. Especially my 6 year old he had a $250 composite bat and could not get the ball out of the infield. I thought it was because he was tiny” he is always the smallest one on the team” but since he has been hitting with the CAT X he has been consistently reaching the outfield!! This bat has a lot of bang for your buck. I saw my son hit dingers with this bat with no problem. It was well made and just a comfortable bat to use. The quality of the product is amazing and Marucci has never failed us on bats.

Hot bat for USA bat
My 8yesr old used this bat for his little league season. Lots of pop. Well balanced.

Fantastic bat
My son loves his Cat X. It has such a great sound when he connects with it. It doesn't have near the pop as his USSSA one, but for a USA bat, it's great!

Powerful USA Bat
Bought for 7y/o son who uses CatX or Cat9 for travel ball and needed a new USA bat for rec ball. After hitting 5 triples consecutively + mult other base hits etc., we are now retiring the USSA bats and he decided to use this one for both travel & rec!It is powerful for more advanced hitters at his age where it has him using his max power to swing. His less experienced teammates are now using it and their hitting has drastically improved .
