Flashlight meets some expectations but not all.
I am returning this flashlight. Charging through USB does not work. Only cranking works. Also slider position that turns light on is next to siren and practically light cannot be turn on without invoking siren. There are other devices on Amazon that work better like having solar panel, USB charger, and crank. Also siren has its own button.

Phone charge does not seem to work.
I'll probably buy another of these for myself to keep in my car. I bought two as gifts. All the features seem to work well. The light is decently bright (think an older good flashlight not a super bright modern LED) so I was pleased with that. The radio was loud and clear. But the phone charge thing... it did seem too good to be true. I tried for a WHILE to get even 1% charge out of it and could not.

This really is a 'must-have!'
It was rather odd that the box said it was an "Emergency Radio with Flashlight," and I'm thinking that's the wrong way round - probably a translation mix-up, but it gets better from her on in. First thing I was curious about was the hand-cranking charge-up feature, but the unit comes already charged so I had to run the battery down. I switched the light on and left it, for a while, and a while longer. Still no change. I actually left the light on OVERNIGHT, and a full 18 hours after turning it on the light was still on (see photo)! Sure, by now it had dimmed-down, but that's some impressive battery life. The radio is awesome! I listened to some FM radio on and off (still trying to run that battery down) and the sound quality is superb. Great reception and depth of sound without distortion on high volume. I doubt many people will use it primarily for a radio (perhaps campers, trail-walkers etc) but if you're in your garage working away, it's music at the flick of a switch! When I did get to the cranking charge feature, it really only took a few seconds and the light brightened back up again. It still shines bright several minutes later. It has an SOS feature where it will let out a loud 'woo-woo' sound to attract attention. It's not high-pitch like a smoke alarm, for example, but loud enough to catch the attention of anyone close by.Recharging is by hand-crank, USB, or DC connection. I'm really seeing no negatives for this, and quite frankly this is going into my car. I don't have to worry about it being out of power because even 30 seconds of cranking and it's fully-functional!
