Flexible Repair Adhesive 28g Black

Since I discovered this stuff I’ve salvaged numerous items which would otherwise have been thrown out and cost a lot to replace. It’s flexible, relatively easy to use and while not cheap it’s a lot cheaper than replacing things s for the sake of a little split or rip. I don’t seem to get on with the tape, maybe because most things I use it on aren’t a flat surface but the liquid is brilliant for a range of disabled living aids and other household items. I buy the small tubes for the small jobs as this bigger one can cure in the tube leading to wastage but I keep one of them too for bigger jobs. The big one especially keeps much better if stored in the freezer between uses.

I needed to repair two things. My electric alternating pressure mattress that my doggie has put her claws through several times during lockdown. I now realise how much I love my doggie groomer and need her to restart work badly! I also needed to repair a 2” rip in a raised air bed. It’s black glue which comes in a tube. I didn't mind the colour as long as it worked. It squeezes out of the tube easily but you do need something to spread it a bit. It’s touch dry in a few hours or completely dry in 12. That’s the only downside although it says you can reduce the curing time by adding a little water. I left it as it is. 12 hours later the rip in the flocked air bed is as good as new and 6 holes in my mattress repaired. I tried all sorts from repair patches to gorilla tape. I also tried patches with separate glue which worked initially but they’re starting to peel now. This is the only thing that has worked so far. I’m impressed with such a good repair I’d buy it again for sure.

The product is great, however the blister card says that the net weight is 28gm and the tube inside says that it's net weight is 22gm ????

My youngest son found an ANCIENT wax jacket in a charity shop in the Scottish Borders, which he thought that I’d love???? It really had seen far better days! I had to use a great deal of this product, but I have to say that it did the job superbly well! After the jacket was waxed, it came up a treat, and you could hardly see the repairs at all!

Had a hole in my lazy spa and on the inflatable lid. I applied some Stormsure to the holes and my spa is back up and running. its very easy to apply and will need 24 hours to cure properly. Also, if you are doing it outside, make sure it isnt going to rain while its curing

Bought this to do a quick repair on my rubber Muck Boots. They were letting in small amounts of water on one join. The Stormsure was relatively easy to use and did the job perfectly. I can trudge round wet, muddy fields and my feet stay dry. Brilliant stuff...

My much-loved old wellies sprang a leak. This fixed it. Pretty easy to use. Now I've got to work out what to do with the other 27.5g of the stuff.

didnt really seal as well..... not designed for horse pee I suppose..
