Headband Cover Pad for Sony WH-1000XM5 Headphone, Headset Headband Protector Cushion Replacement with Zipper (Black)

I was totally going to go back to Best Buy to return my headphones because the material they used was making my head itchy which I later found out could be an allergic reaction to that material. If it weren’t for this headband cover I wouldn’t be able to have these amazing headphones!! I haven’t had any itchiness since and I’m so happy with the cover thank you so much!!! It’s super comfy and is very nice for extra cushion support and I would definitely recommend buying this if the headphones are making you feel itchy at the top of your head

I looked online for solutions to ease the discomfort of the headband on the 1000xm5s and this headband was one of them. This headband was more comfortable than nothing, but my head still hurt wearing the headphones.

Fits well, but does absolutely nothing to increase the comfort of the headband.

I bought this specifically so the headband of my headphones would be protected and it did the opposite. When I took it off of my headphones it left a black mark that I have not been able to remove.

This headband isn't exactly too soft or cushion-y, it definitely provides a benefit over the original headband but I'd recommend finding another solution if the polymer roughness isn't for you.

Did not fit

It's a pretty thin wrapper over the headband. I was was hoping for some additional padding in order to improve comfort. If yours is starting to deteriorate this could be a good option.

I doesn't really help with the clamp force, and since It's bulky looks funny on video calls

Low quality, ugly looking and cheap. Probably sold at a 10x markup, I would be surprised if the material cost of this thing was more than 1 euro. It does however help a little with headband pain which is why I'm not giving it 1 star

Gekocht omdat de hoofdband van de XM5 eigenlijk iets te smal is en dat voelt na een tijdje onaangenaam. Ik had gehoopt dat de padding iets dikker was maar het is zeker geen slechte toevoeging en geeft toch iets meer comfort. Bovendien ziet het er in mijn beleving netjes uit, vanwege de netjes.

I bought this for my husband's headphones as he found the bar uncomfortable. The cover isn't overly padded, but it did improve the comfort of the headphones.

Eigentlich habe ich sie mir für den extrem unbequemen Bügel der XM5 gekauft, aber selbst mit dem Bezug waren die XM5 nach ein paar Stunden unkomfortabel. Da ich aber auch noch XM3 herumliegen habe und diese über alles liebe habe ich den Überzug einfach mal bei denen probiert und siehe da er passt nicht nur, sondern macht die schon bequemen XM3 noch einmal komfortabler zu tragen. Material ist sehr angenehm und vor allem im Sommer war es toll einen Überzug zu haben den man auch schnell und leicht reinigen kann. Für die XM5 konnte der Überzug bei mir keine Wunder wirken, aber bei den XM3 (und auch XM4, ebenfalls getestet) ist er grandios bequem. Aussehen tut er übrigens sehr gut und wenn man nicht weiß wie XM3/4 aussehen würde man glaube er gehört einfach dazu.
