Japanese Stainless Steel Curved Blade Nail Clipper - Made in Japan | Green Bell (G-1205)

As many other reviews have said, I've found that all previous clippers have been blunt. This one is nice and sharp and leaves a clean cut on my nails.

I had some tweezerman clippers which were great for a few years but they went blunt (you could get them sharpened from tweezerman but it was cheaper to buy new ones rather than pay for the postage to the states). So I bought some new tweezermans but they never felt like they cut very well. The nails always felt rough after you cut them. So I did some research on the internet and the same clippers kept getting rave reviews from Europe and the states. Green Bell G-1205, also branded as Takumi No Waza (same clippers just sold in different markets). Theses were more expensive than other clippers but I thought I would take a chance and buy them. Well, I can honestly say that after using them a few times the reviews were correct. These are great clippers, they cut really well, no more rough nails afterwards. I would definitely recommend buying these clippers.

Extremely sharp, really pleased with them

Sharp as can be. These clippers are very sharp and give no resistance. Make sure you’re clipping the right part of the nail. The first time I used them I was concerned it was possible to cut too short so I was extra cautious. They are expensive for nail clippers but can see the value for money as I don’t think these will go blunt in my lifetime. Fantastic!

Bought these after seeing the rave Wirecutter review. And yes, it’s worth the money. Maybe a coincidence but the nail that usually breaks first (does everyone have one like that?) seems to have grown longer than usual - long enough to need trimming with the rest. Either way, they’re great nail clippers.
