BinatoneShield 6015 Call Blocker Single Home Telephone

Bought to replace an older Binatone, chose this due to the call blocking option. Phone is easy to set up. The choice for blocking is great, needed to block international calls & I've not had one since setting this phone up. Other blocking options are withheld, unavailable & payphone. The other option that came in handy was putting the phone on silent with the touch of 1 button, working nights meant I had to unplug the old phone or spend 5 minutes going through the settings. The only issue I have is the lack of an LED to indicate a call missed or a message on the answerphone. A simple flashing light & I would give 5 stars but without it I can only give 4.

There isn't a zero star option...but in fact I like the little song it plays (played) when it rings (rang), so I guess that's worth a star. This phone lasted exactly one day longer than the return period, so I'm stuck with one month of usage out of my purchase, which is hardly adequate. It worked OK except for low volume, as other reviewers have mentioned, along with difficulty figuring out how to change anything, including volume, as other reviewers have mentioned. But then, just after the 30-day period was over, it completely stopped working as an outgoing telephone. Every button on the phone is totally unresponsive. It would pick up calls for a few days, but I couldn't phone out. Then today it died entirely. The problem could just be the rechargeable batteries - but with such a bizarre breakdown I'm not willing to invest in new specialized batteries without knowing if it will work or not. Not pleased.

this phone is easy to use, not the loudest ring but that's ok for us, long enough battery charge.

Bought this to replace one very similar to one that I've had for years.sadly the other one gave up,but instructions are same so easy to install.

Easy to use phones, don't appear to be very loud however that could be me not reading up how to adjust the volume. We haven't got the number coming up on the phone when someone rings so we can't use the nuisance call blocking bit which to be honest is why I bought the phones but over all good phones that work.

Phone not very loud when ringing if radio on downstairs and your upstairs sometimes hard to hear apart from that it's a decent phone.

You certainly get what you pay forbuy cheap by twice and that's exactly what I had to do !!!
